I have been building/selling the disc itself for just about 15 years. I don't do the hats but call Ulmer Racing 605-387-2833 for that.

Our old Drussel type alum rims are on Uncle Mark's D-21 right now and they weigh 65 lbs/ea.
We put on Whipstation with the reinforcement and they weigh 78 lbs.

If you're going to run 4 engines like what Larry Profab runs then yes, probably will keep up with 2 blower engines but whats the advantage? Its not cost or weight

I am just a simple minded ag mechanic, but couldnt you just use any relay? Connect the ground wire for the mag to the normally closed contact (87) of the relay and a ground wire to the common terminal (30), then run a ground wire to one side of the coil (86) and run a hot wire from your ignition switch through a kill switch and then back to the other terminal for the coil on t

Not trying to be a smart ass and really hoping the guy will make it...
But in our rules the kill switch for magnetos has to operate a relais - so when the relais looses power (the hot wire is fed through the actual switch in the back) it switches the coils to ground. I think we have this since the early 90s already, after a tractor broke in two pieces and it's front part with

The mod class is definitely a tough one to predict as several have stepped up there game!
The twin hemis on Lotta Dirt out of OK is on fire, winning 6 out of 8 hooks so far this year.
The 3 chevys on the Mex-I-can from New Mexico are running real well if he can keep it from bouncing, he won Whitewright TX.
Cotton Candy was on the heels of winning at the recent TX events.
The River Rat won Rav

Hey thanks for picking us in the mod class, unfortunately we plan to be at about 20+ of the 32 events so no points championship this year. With that said Sweet Pain will be screamin as hard as ever at those events we do go to.

Justin Handel of Handel Repair bought the waterbrake engine dyno from JR Motorsports by Des Moines.
Handel Repair is rural Menno, SD and does your normal auto repair along with special performance engines such as turbocharged electronic fuel injected engines and does plenty of carburetor and engine work for several of the top running circle track racers.
I do not know about putting a limite

FYI, Mark's tractor has some heavy parts on it like 4 turbos, cast iron head and 10 ply tires. So its high HP and a reliable lightweight rearend.
Congrats to him on his championship!

We ran on the east track and both nights were very good. The first night we were 1st hook and got second place, saturday night we were late to hook in the class and won it. It took everything we had for weights on the front end, low gear and yes, brakes to keep it straight.
Good job Wisner! (again)

Trust me this has been on my mind. The Turbinator guys are so good and so consistent and Thermal Thunder isn't out of this either. We have about 9 events left, alot can happen.
They need to slip up some and we need to crank it up some. We're working on running these Chevy's harder again then we ever have, let's hope its enough.
Wish us luck!

Around the year 2000 we ran at Anoka MN then drove to Menomonie WI to run again that same day (not much for spare time). We went across the Menomonie scale and left 2 weights lay there. After we were done making our pass we went back to get them and they were gone. I just figured someone took them back for us or accidently grabbed them (thinking they were there own) so I ran around the pits letti

The pic on the left would've been the twin 348's. I don't know what the rearend was, but at some point they were using Cockshutt.
The other pic is a 44 massey with a 396.
As far as the date, Dad, Mark or Gary would have to chime in.

Thanks Sascha, I'll try that.
Some of you who have watched "Sweet Pain" run for many years might be interested to know that while winning the points championship this past season, Dad drove 7 times. He won 5 of those, which several were drivers tracks. After almost 45 years of doing this he still loves it! If he keeps performing like this, I'm gonna get booted from the drivers seat!

In 1988 Dad had been pulling for about 20 years already and about 15 with a mod.
Is there a way to burn that to a disk or is that a youtube no no?

I can supply lightweight discs that slide right onto the bull pinion shaft. Simple, easy, lightweight and the same thing that are on Midnight Mistress and The Weapon.

Anyone ever use a disconnect that is for both sides at the same time?
We are considering this after data logging issues that are getting blamed on disconnecting.
