I would not recommended hooking to the hitch. All depends on the weight of the tractor. If over 10,000 lbs, must use certain size chain and binders. Also need 2 chains per side. 1 pulling forward the other pulling back. This all came from DOT. Most states are the same. If you get stopped, they will tell you how it should be. Google it for your state.

To be legal, you have to have every thing in the clutch STEEL. Most factory clutch parts are CAST. Bad things CAN and have happened under 3000 rpm. Heat is another factor to put up with. Pressure plate is cast. You may want to run a different class some time, that require SFI clutch set up. Do it right the first time. Will save you money later.

We had our crank gear cut off a few weeks ago, with no problem. How much weld was used to weld it on? Doesn't take much.

Used soy oil for 3 years. Not an issue yet. Use pure soy oil, no additives.

You have to get a clutch housing off a late model 4020 or 4320. Those seem to work the best. Get new flywheel, clutch and transmission shaft. Will have to change return oil dump to top of tran cover. I am taking for granted, you have no 2 speed. We went though all the crap you are now. If we would have changed when other people told us to, we would have saved A LOT of money and time. The dry clut

Put the pressure switch on the pressure side. There should be no pressure in the return side. There are 3 tractors in this area and are using this set up, all work very good. May want to use an accumulator so pump doesn't cycle so much. Search this topic, all of this has been gone though before.

I don't know, we have a single. Why would you want a double? It may work if you just use one side.

It may work the same way. We put the pump under the seat inside the cage.

Plumbed directly to steering and brakes. You need one hose for pressure and one hose for return oil. Very simple. Pump has its own oil tank.

Use a electric hydraulic pump with a pressure switch, part number 10-C14, from United Electric Controls. Connect violet color wire to solenoid on pump and black wire to switched power source, do not use blue wire. Pump from Northern Tool- $300, Pressure switch, $80. There are 3 tractors in our area that use this set up, all are John Deere. All work fine.

If you use good batteries, will have no problem. The pump will not run all the time if you use a pressure switch. We have water pump, fan, water injection and steering, no problem.

Nothing was incorrect. According to the PPL website on the schedule, it only mentioned 9500 Pro Farm, not 9000. Nothing was clear until case fan listed the rules. I looked in the rule book and no pro farm is listed in contents pages. How was I to know that the rules for pro farm was in Western Series section of the book? End of subject.

We had the same problem. Make sure that the drive hub has holes in it from front to back. All of the disk need to have oil to them or it will drag.
