Oliver 1655 has a good point about the Farming games out there now. I have been a longtime fan of the Farming simulator series and now it being available on Xbox and PS3 is just helping spread the tractor experiance to a hole new crop of people who would otherwise be ignorant to tractors. I work in the wood working industry and found that some of my peers accross Canada have gotten hooked on the

Great topic Dick! From a fan and mechanic point of view here's my 2 cents. As some have metioned in this topic, going electronic takes away some of the true R+D and tuning aspecs for the old school wrenchers out there but in todays day and age, every thing motorized has been in a way updated to electronic technologie for both eficiency and reliability reason... heck even lawn tractors you b

Looking to build pro-stock;would Mark in Staab Wisconsin be a good prospect?? Heard a rumor that a guy from Quebec had one built by him; around $200,000; 2 or 3 years later the guy still doesn't have it, and the price has nearly doubled; and information about this, I'd appreciate it.
I've seen the tractor, it is finished, and it is awesome.

on a funny side note, if you listen carfully around the 40 sec mark of the video, i am almost 100% sure the anouncer or the camera man burps real loud :-)
Good Luck with your new motor, i hope it will hold up better than this one did.

Quick answer to get more people into pulling... Convince MTV or TLC to make a reality show about some random pulling team that really likes attention, Make it appealing to the mainstream with lost of drama and voila!
My suggestion... Pimp my tractor or 5 engines and counting :-)

Being 1426 km away from NFMS, ( 886 miles ) I would be one to watch it live via internet, but how much would i be willing to pay? So some have said " its not the same as in person " I dont know really. Some of my favorit parts of pulls is the smells, noise and of course the food! I dont think i would be able to put a $ value given that its not a complete experiance... i would be in $4000 dollar r

I agree with Wes, Gaeton dosen't buy crap... Ive been a longtime fan of his and i will never forget the year he came to casselman with one of hooterman's old "scooter" NH and had a wild ride, tossing the sled sidways onto the cement blocks stopping the show for a while... I think i still have a video of that pull. If any one can remeber what year Gaeton ran that New holland please let m
