I think everyone that complains that the super farm class is boring, should be sentenced to a day of watching a complete event of 2.5mph limit antiques. There will be 10-15 tractors and they will all run every weight class. The show will last 6-8 hours and they won't be allowed any alcoholic beverages, and they will be forced to watch the entire time.
After that they will ab

Why dose every one hate super farm so bad? I feel like People on this site are Rasist against certain classes, I tought this page was all about pulling from R/C to unlimited mod and every one in between. I just thing you guys are all spoiled brats... Pulls are few an far between where i come from and any pull of any type is a welcomed thing. I understand that yes some classes are me "exciting" th

well a DT466 single turbo tractor won the SS points race up here in Canada for 2011 ... so is multi turbo a must to define super stock... I dont think so.

So what your telling me Geatan, is that Gomer's toy is in pieces too... that explaines why i havent seen it at casselman in a few years...I'm sad to hear that Ron never got to finish his new tractor . On a different note, did you end up selling the 20 mule team? An what suprise do you have in store for us this year at casselman? Just a hint would be nice.

Call me Ignorant... but is it just me or some "classes" have more than one name?
what i mean, i see many topics about various classes eg: Lim pro, pro stock, super stock, super farm, hot farm, light super stock, unlimited super stock etc. Many seem to have the same or very similar rules... I get the concept of 1 turbo vs multi turbos and componet vs stock castings ... Do the names just vary for

Hi Jim,
I would suggest making a small covered rack/spacer/ box to space out the blanket were your clutch linkage or arm is to avoid the rubbing...
I think you could maybe get away with that depending on your setup....
Just me 2 cents,

Spoke to McCooye last week and their tractor will be out this year. Will be nice to see it back on the track.
So did McCooye ever make it to the track with the orange blossom special?

What i dont get is why after 25+ years of improving the sled to finally have it work problem free... Why would they even think of selling it? It seems to do the job just fine... Ok so maybe it could not stop Pat's Crazy Canuck... but really? what is so different about the NTPA or NYTPA sleds vs our sled?

Question for Pat, I saw in the classifieds that you are selling the Crazy canuck's engine to come back into the local pull classes...
Just curious if you are gonna repower it or if you are building a new tractor from scratch?

I Had a flashback of a video i saw on America's funniest home video's as a kid. back when Bob Saget was the host, of a IHC tractor with a narrow front poping a huge wheelie at the start of a pull. it drop back down so hard that the tractor broke in 1/2 ... dose any one know of this early 90' crash? Or where i could find that video again? All this talk of vintage pulling lately on t

I agree ol George, keep it small so we dont end up with an all cummins lineup like we see with the IH in the usual hotfarm to ss classes.
By all means i am not bashing the cummins as its a good engine, I just like to see color and rivalry on the track. 300ci limit seems good to me. i would limit these machines on turbos also beacuse i dont think the rearend can hold 1000+hp. The last thing i wa

I think its a fantastic idea for guys with a smaller budget that are looking for the super stock excitement... No need for a big hauler at 5000#. Ive seen the 4 cyl class online and think that if a few would dare to build some of these tractors and have them do an exibition class at a few of the top events, this feaver might spread like wildfire. As for the sled... i would stick to the big one. S
