I'm glad they finally added a tentative drivers list. Gives me more of an idea of whether or not to travel four hours to get to the show.

There are currently 230 people on the site and it seems to be fast... very fast. How's the page loading for anyone else out there?
Just opened multiple topics at the same time and all of them properly loaded. It used to be that you would have to refresh every-other topic, but that wasn't the case. Looks like the upgrade was successful. Thanks Jake.

The NFMS is the big dance, simply put it is the place for grand national/ champions tour classes not regional or state level classes amd that is where the classes offered at the show should come from.
Then why do we have diesel trucks...? Oh, that's right, to try to get more butts in the seats/money.

Dick, you were spot on when you said that Cope was the hit of the show. The two most exciting moments (for me) of the week was the Pro Stock pull-off between him and Boyd, and then watching Cope dodge all of those bullets on Saturday night. The reaction when Schmucker finally came to a stop was incredible.
The diesel trucks are the sore thumb of the Farm Show. The only class that can't f

Does the massey do better indoors than out? short track?
Or can he throw everything at it a indoor and have time to recover by spring.
From what I figured up this morning, he had four wins at twenty Grand National events.
(Not sure how many top three finishes he had.)

Another mistake I heard was batliners superfarm being called a perkins v8. For the amount of information that those guys need to know about every vehicle going down that track, they do an amazing job!
I believe last year was the first year that they ran the SISU in it. I kind of miss hearing the v8 wind down after a run.

The only puller that was missing from the week was Mike Stamp. And we all know the situation behind that...

As if the thread needed another dissenting opinion, I too believe that the diesel truck class should be dropped.
Don't get me wrong, they're alright to watch outdoors where they have room to run. But on a short track...not so much.
I didn't think we were ever going to have three trucks with a measurable distance...

anyone doing live updates for the farm show??
I've just been posting the results right at the conclusion of the class. I would do an update after every hook, but apps are a major drain on the phone battery.

Is there a reputable vendor that will be taping this year's NFMS Pull? I know that Vernada has done so in the past, and the quality of videos were good, but service wise has been a struggle and their website has been under constructon for over a year.
Thanks!
Same company. Such a shame that they can't get their website fixed and up...

Glad somebody won.....I'm not even sure that pull ever happened, can't find results for the weekend anywhere!!!!
I emailed them Sunday night and the response that I got was that they would be up in a few days.
Usually I include the results in my videos, but with nearly 4 GB worth, I simply couldn't wait that long.
I do have the results written down on a sheet of paper

From what I heard it was still in the shed and he was thinking about waiting for his grandson to pull it in the Light Limited class.

Larry Phillips said at the Farm Show back in the early 2000's that he was a "die hard smoke man" but as the landscape of pulling has changed over the years, he has switched over to alcohol in order to remain competitive and now the only diesel tractor he has is the Light Limited Super Stock. Do I blame him? Not at all.
The only time that a competitor switching over to alcohol was odd for

As the ticket prices keep increasing the willingness to attend the Farm Show decreases. Know why Bowling Green, Ohio keeps increasing seating? Part of it has to do with the ticket prices!
I love going to the Farm Show and any other indoor pull, but there comes a point where enough is enough.

I look at it as a way to pay homage to the tractors of the past, and is great to see rather than just another 6030.
I'd love to see more 460's as well (if we're talking about reds), but we all know how popular the 1066 is...
Never really understood why there is a "time limit" on the sheet metal rule. It's not like pullers are using the original guts of the tractors anyway
