Just my dumb thinking. If class is growing, moat of pullers are happy why change the rules? Seems to me rules they have now are working!
K backer that was a great post the rules wont be changing any time soon AC puller just tried to get something started which i admire makes my job of stirring things up and getting some blood pumping a lot easier[/quote

Tell everyone oh all knowing Lewis ...................... what flow bench do you use to make sure that willy nilly grinding you do is actually helping increase CFM without hurting port velocity AND keeping ports all balanced on air flow ........................ Im over here with popcorn waiting.

Keep this in mind. Whether its weights hung on it OR what the front actually weighs can keep the front end down. Dont get caught up in that oneway road thinking.
I used to run a 966 in everything from 8500 to 13500 and never put any weights on the nose till 11500

THANK YOU Yes those 2 tractors are single charger. On that note not ALL LSS tractors have 3-4 turbos ............ I run a single on mine too. Seems to be a misconception on super classes.

NOT everything is LLSS just so ya know.. Outlaws run the cast LSS which is also what I run and those 2 tractors are in that class

Ask the "too much fun " and just for fun" guys , they run alky with the Outlaws. BTW ..... no rearend breakage? hmmmmmm I got to watch in person at Rock Valley a few yrs ago when one of them nearly took an axle housing clean off draining near all the oil at about 75-100 foot mark

Depends on what part of the country you are in. For example LSS with Nebraska Bush (cast light super) no overhead cams However in the ULSS class with components I know of one that runs on occasion

Tractor pulling is ONLY a hobby and can never be more? Is that what you are saying Plumcrazy? Wouldnt it be cool if it was worth more? Like drag racing or Nascar and such so a guy could go at it professionally? Lots of other motor sports are , I would love it if it was cuz thats what I would do for a living

This is my "big frame" (706 rear and trans) its a 505 cu alky with a single charger weighs 5300 bare and I still have room for further "diet" I pull it at 6100 right now so plz dont say that big frame tractors have NO shot at getting down there. Imagine if I took the 400 series out and put a 300 series in to conform to cube rules what it would weigh. Chassis may be for sale in the near futur
