Why does this always go back to IH guys being the problem? Just because they are the predominant choice for about every class, The great John Deere’s have all these new engine designs and are thought to be so much better but still aren’t the dominant force that a tractor/engine design from the 70’s was and are yet today. Seems to me they aren’t the ones with the problem

I thought everyone was just saying how the pro stock class was fine, numbers are great, no need to change anything! Now the 5” class has come about, if the pro class is doing so great what’s need for this? The cross dressing hasn’t helped numbers in anything, if anything it’s hurt it!

Why does it even matter in a super stock class? Everything is custom built so who cares where you drive the injection pump! I’m not a JD guy at all but to eliminate one of the few green tractors in this class is pretty stupid

I’ve been watching a lot Clint’s videos from 1994,95,96. The ITPA sure had a hell of a pro stock class! What ever happened to George Hendrickson Massey, JR Quandt, Jerry Reed, Steve Sarkoski? I know where Gumm’s went and Flirtin with disaster became Nasty Stuff, Little built and sold a lot of tractors and the Snitkers are still getting it done today yet. Todays stuff is impressive but those days

There is no argument, it's a statement. We do not want any changes to Prostocks rules. The only limiting factors that could even be further limited are 680 cube limit on blocks and a single charger. At that point, there becomes no reason to even have a Prostock class if we're cutting their cubes and making the chargers smaller. Like I originally said, if you don'

The pro stock class is my favorite class. As far as the future of single charger classes on the national level I think the Limited Pro's will be added in the near future, for good reason. They create a lot of power, they're fun to watch, and there are quite a few competitors representing various colors.
That takes single charger classes to 3 on the national level as you

The only thing I’d recommend is for them is to put the dump in a place he don’t have get the harness off to pull. Other than that @#$%& happens, parts brake! Jason and his crew were running the dog @#$%& out of that tractor this year trying to get to all the events

The advantage to the bbjd as most know is the bore spacing. With everyone running aftermarket blocks cranks ect what would be the issue with letting builders build an ih style engine but lengthened to bbjd bore centers
That’s not allowed

I agree, variety is great! I never liked mods but that light mod class in Outlaws is actually really fun to watch with all their different engine combinations. I wish there were a lot more variety in all classes to be honest

I have thought about this, and first wasnt going to say anything but who cares if IH is gone in Pro Stock. John Deere is almost gone in most every other class.
I went to Louisville, I believe Light Pro Stock was 95 % IH. I was at a pull yesterday and I think 5 John Deeres all afternoon, the point is IH doesnt care, they have run others out of classes so why worry about them now?

I know not many people liked when Doug Roberts made the 4.875 bore rule but that sure would have kept things in check a lot better than what we have now. You still could be your 680 cubes but that limited the valve size essentially! I believe the big pro class will wind up just like DSS in a few years. The 5” class will turn out in numbers like the 4.1’s and light pros have. Don’t get me wrong bi

All the blocks we make at Chaos are from a casting we get done locally and then machine in-house. This is what you see in el nino and triple bypass. Many mistake it for billet because the exhaust manifold side of the block is completely machined and looks like it is. Just easier to cast/ make that way. Several dt , bbjd and cummins blocks are out this year and last year.

Some of the above are correct, Hyper, Schnitker, and Chaos all currently make recast blocks for IH, Chaos also make recast Cummins and BBJD blocks. Lemke did make recast SBJD blocks(that is what was in Peter Norton’s Money on Black Pro), but he now makes a billet SBJD based block. Brinkmeier, Stamm, Link, Wileman(think I spelled that wrong) and I think some of the other Badger State

Lempke is the only one actually making a steel billet block, Hyper, Snitker, Chaos are all poured cast. Chaos is solid without water jackets from my understanding

Pretty easy to figure out the why he’s doing it. He can sneak into a 3-5 spot in Dss with their lack of tractors or be at the bottom of the pro stock class unless he did some serious updating

Easiest way for a farm stock class is 8,10,or 12 mph at 3000 rpm. After that things get out of hand real fast! 700 cube big blocks is quite excessive for a “farm” class!
