One of my prized possessions is this program from Pull-O-Roma from the old Richfield Coliseum near Cleveland, Ohio. I am not sure when this was but I think it was late 70s??? I am surprised that my dad even bought me a program but I am glad he did as it brings back good memories every time I see it.

Not a rumor in Ohio. The Ohio State University has sent everybody home as well as all the other state schools. K-12 schools are closed probably through the end of school year with teachers scrambling to go online. The big news is today is the governor went against a court order and pushed out voting. We will see how that plays out. As many have said, we will probably never know if all of thi

That tractor was built and owned by John Donnersbach and the one in the background was built by Tim Dilgard both of North Central Ohio. I am not sure about Tomah but I know both of them pulled the mini class at Bowling Green around that time. If I remember right, the Deere had a 4 cylinder Ford Diesel and the Cub had an IH 4 cylinder Diesel from a backhoe.

2012 at the Fort was probably one of the most memorable pulls for me in this decade. I am not normally a big mini fan but that show, particularly Friday night was just unbelievable. They were hooked up and flying...!

Rich, check out the pictures OSTPA posted on Facebook from Ohio Pull Fan it shows where the break occurred. I think the track pulled him to the left, not necessarily a mechanical issue but I was standing at the 100 ft line behind where the action took place.

Lots of emotion in this thread but not a lot of data. Like a Roots type blower there are different sizes of screw blowers and their output can be affected by their drive speed. Therefore screw blowers COULD be good for the sport if they truly do offer maintenance advantages and there is a way to offset their efficiency advantage by limiting the size; overdrive; etc. so that the expected power l

First and foremost look around and see what clubs are active in Florida, attend one of their pulls and see what is running. Typically clubs have separate classes for the singles vs the twins and some clubs even divide up by engine original hp (i.e. 12hp class etc.)
You have a good starting place with the 122 and the sky is the limit with modifications. A good places to start for informatio

sfd823 question is very valid. Show me one manufacture today that offers a high horsepower 2wd (i.e non-fwa) tractor. There are none that I know of so you have just eliminated every new block that is being produced. The 8.4 SISU is already out there in other non-component classes but according to the text in bold print that is not legal in a component chassis.
On the flip side, you can

In my opinion, limits on any class have absolutely nothing to do with the cost of competing, it is all about maintaining the viability of the class and keeping the competition close. Limits should NOT be put on a class so that everybody can play and get a ribbon. Limits are nothing more than competition rules that all other motorsports have. NASCAR juggles the rules (with varying degrees of su

How about a reality show on MAVtv to find a new driver. Call it the Team Chizek Pulloff. 10 Drivers compete for a spot on the team based on their driving and mechanical ability; track reading skills and ability to give a coherent interview in the winners circle. The question is, who would you pick for the three judges?

I went Sunday night for the NTPA show and have been there many times in the past. They now run two tracks and once the track crew hit their stride they did a good job of maintaining the track and keeping the show moving. The tracks were consistent from start to finish and the 4x4 trucks really seemed to like it, very little bouncing. Always a good crowd to pull in front of for sure. Parking

We made rules for a 6500 hot farm class since the LLSS tractors have been pretty hard on the 6500 hot farm tractors. 6500, 2.75 turbo if I remember right, 20.8 tires. I think they were going to be used by Buckeye Power Productions, but don't quote me on that. I was just involved in making up rules catering to the true hot farm/modified/ect 6500 tractors.
Are they going to o

Yes, the one I that I know of was a G4800 and a turbo version that was a GTA4800. There were natural gas and propane versions but I don't know if they made a true gasoline version.
