Yea it was set up that way so if you wanted to run both of the same weight classes you could without taking weight on and off all the time but also if you were just going to run the open classes or the mod farm classes you would have plenty of time to weigh up and cool down in between classes.

in the purse classes should the top 5 be paid or the top 10?

well i could talk to joe singer and see what order he would like to run them in for the tractors because we dont want to have to put weight in and out of the sled. But as of now that is the pulling order. By the way I was just wondering what you are running?

Payout - 11 years ago
Ok everyone, so I have a question for the pullers. On the classes that have purse money on them would youd rather see 5 places paid, 10 places paid, or how many spots do you think should be paid back?
Thanks,
Mike

No, we do not have anything for a 2-wheel drive truck. The whole deal with that was that we would only ever have one or two 2-wheel drive trucks show up when we had a class for them. We never really discussed at any meetings about the 2-wheel drive trucks in the 4-wheel drive class, but a couple years ago we did let a 2-wheel drive truck pull in the 4-wheel drive class and the 4-wheel drive guys

If you are talking about the mod. farm class the rules are:
STOCK APPEARING
P PUMP MAX - ALL TRACTORS
NO CUT TIRES
20" HITCH HEIGHT - ALL TRACTORS
3" TURBO INLET MAX
The stock appearing means the tractor has to look like the original tractor. The tractor does not have to be plow ready. It doesnt have to have a pto or rockshaft or anything, and no shotgun red is not stock appearing. We are

Last year all the tractors had to run in the open classes because there was no mod. farm classes. This year by going to two tracks we decided to split the classes up so more guys would feel like they can pull and there isn't any confusion and mix ups like we had last year. I hope to see a lot of tractors, trucks and fans there this year, as this is our first year of offering bigger purse mo

The open classes are really for anyone. All of thoes tractors could be in that class, but what has shown up in the past for that class has mostly been hot farm tractors with cut tires and super farm tractors. Im not sure what will show up with the purse being more this year though. What are you pulling?

Yea, we are having many more classes this year, and we will also pay out over $11,000 in purse money. We are also going to run tractors on one track and trucks on the other. Both sleds will be singer sleds. And yes we are in north central Ohio. We hope to have a great turnout this year with more purse money and more classes.

Hart's is your best bet and scheid makes pretty good pumps too. On the other hand i had a columbus p-pump and that pump was JUNK I had constant problems with it. It was back at columbus and they "checked it out" and sent it back to me, said it was good and as soon as i started my tractor it was all messed up again so i sent that pump out to scheid because I knew they could get the job done q
