Yea 466 block but cubes? Didn't I see a 6030 on the video? Never saw or heard of a 6030 with a 466. You didn't say what size turbo. Probably bigger than 3 is why they fall on their face.

What cube limit? A 2955 has a horizontal pump but it's not an A pump. A 404 or 466 would work unless cubes are too high.

When growing up we had old Farmall's and the dealer was a mile away in town. When IH pulled the local dealer and then other dealers within 20 miles it was time to change. We are going through the same thing now with Deere pulling our local dealer as of this June. I'm too old to switch now and my wife wouldn't drive anything, but a Deere combine or tractor. Dealer support and quick

Deere HyGard on our JD Hot Farm with wet clutch and stock brakes. I'm not an expert but I sure wouldn't run a heavy gear oil.

Sometimes bigger is not better for a turbo. Years ago my JD mechanic gave one to try. It was just a tad bigger. As soon as I let the clutch out I knew it wasn't going to work. I always told the young guns that pulled with me try things one at a time. The little things add up to a good run.

Come on red pullers help this puller out. Isn't that what keeps the sport alive.

I didn't grow up in pulling but my kids, grandkids and now a great granddaughter will. My grandson is the only one who is pulling besides me. It's an addiction! Good luck on your survey and I take it that you grew up in the sport.

The first one I ever saw in Pa. was Gary Mills out of Maryland. I think it was called One to Go but I could be wrong.

Watch so.md. dirt farmer video of the Keystone pull. Bill Grimes and his sons build them for customers. They have a test track which you will see in the video. The JD with the roll cage is one they've built. The boys have their own web site but I can't find it right now. Bill tells a lot of pulling history too. Well worth the watch.

I've been livestreaming the night sessions and what a great job by WW and his partner. If you haven't streamed, it the Finals are today and night. What a run for Dave and Henery Everman burring those tractor up in the sand pile. Dave leaned back in the cage for the win. Well at least that what my dad always did on a Farmall M. Ha ha.

Add to that list the variations of each of those classes except the last 3 listed. There are different cubes, turbo size, tire size. cut and non-cut tires, intercoolers, no intercoolers. water injection-no water injection, and on and on. You can easily triple the number of classes listed.

The E is the "upgraded D". I bought a new 6135E in 2017. It would lose all hydraulic functions going downhill including steering. Deere factory rep. came to the farm and took a "real" ride. He came back and said park it until they can figure it out. They finally said they would give me a great deal trading it for a new 2018 6130M. No regrets so far and it's got 1700+- hours on it. Rep. said

Hitting the sand, landing in the beach is all for the fans! Having a true full pull mark would make more sense for the tractor and safety. Moving the full mark is as unfair as can be and one reason I quit going to another indoor pull.

Bill Grimes has videos of the old 70's/80's PS class under his YouTube channel so.md.dirt farmer. He ran Buck Shot and the Delaware Ether Eater II. There are several videos including running at the Buck Legends pull in 2021. Charlie Hoober ran his previous owned tractor too. These tractors remind me of the current Hot Farm class. Bill talks a lot about how the PS class went from guys li

I ran a 3130 in the 9000 Farm Stock class for a few years. The limiting factor was the injection pump. I knew another guy that ran one and switched from non-turbo to turbo because it was legal in the owner's manual for running farm stock. I think that tractor ended up at Martins in Chambersburg years ago as a 2940. There is a very good running 2955 out of CT. that runs with New York HF as a

For me it was Northeastern Pa. puller George Kuback who pulled the original Super Moose John Deere and later the Jolly Green Giant. When I saw him pull at the Harford Pa. fair in 1976 and they swung the gate open to let him through I was hooked first as a fan and then a local puller. He's still pulling a couple times a year at 83. He became one of my best friends. I've learned a lot of
