two things on that particular notion, it has been a long time since pulling has been on non paid tv, sometime in the 70's from Bowling Green on abc's wide world of sports, I think, so enjoy the heck out of this. Since it is being broadcast to a mostly non pulling crowd what would be most impressive and that to my chagrin has to be the mods. As a tractor fellow, I would rather watch the

actually there are several manufactures left out, but who in the states are going to pursue one. One other hindrance is the lack of junked out tractors from these brands, why go thru the trouble or expense to r$d an off color with all the parts available to the "american" brands

not in the factory tub without a bunch of wittling, if you are going to 8500 go ahead and get an 1850 with the perkins tub and it will make your life a bunch easier. I had a 2255 that was down to 7500 with the tub got it down to 6500 with a tube frame. Have seen a couple in 16 and 1750's but they had carved out the oil pan hole. Personally, i would rather have a 18 series and not worry about

Hmmm, first thing is to decide the wt and type class you want to pull. Second thing make sure you have a hauler to handle such tractor. That being said what is currently pulling in this class and do you want to be just like them or be in the class with them. Keep a close watch on the classifieds on this and other sites and be ready to act when you spot an ad with a tractor that is close to what y

As for Sevierville when you co sanction a class you better make sure that their rules coincide with yours or it will be a bad night for one group of pullers.

who knew, dangit I should have hit McConnell up to pay for my rearend back in the atpa days. Broke the rearend in several pieces when the hook was placed in the wrong hole. i just went home and fixed the tractor, never even thought to ask for payment. Hired a crew member after that to always check the hitch location figured it would just be cheaper and less work.

the compact ford (1700,1500) was the noisiest tractor I have ever sat on outside of the detroit. That being said a natural aspirated perkins is a noise maker with a straight pipe.

thats crazy, everybody makes a motor smaller than 310 or heck 300 if you want to be simple. Ford, deere, case,oliver/white, allis, belarus, zetor, hesston, massey or name your brand. If you make it 360 you haven't created a class since that is already out there with the llss. Personally, I have had a couple of tractors that would have made nice ones for this class, 5000 ford and 88 oliver pl

They all make lemons, got a neighbor with lemon stickers all over his 06 chevy pickup, nothing done to solve the problem. Fellow that owns a restaurant in the county seat has dodge and has taken out ads in the paper, local dealer finally bought it back after 3 months. Personally had a ford that wasn't worth the time it took to drive it home and a chrysler that i was elated when someone else

justin 310 is plenty for the cubes and oliver and allis and ford all can get in, 4500 is plenty for the wt and the mini rod sled could probably be used to stop this class. Keep it light and small cube and it could really be fun.

Actually if you were to purchase one single run of tires I think they would make just about anything, rumor was that the thundermakere mini team did just that , take a good chunk of money to pull of that deal though.

The show was fairly well done, especially for a first time. My only complaint would be, I came in late and it would have been helpful to know what had already pulled and what was left to watch. I am glad I bought the ticket last night got to see twd, hvyss, and mods by then it was midnight and I gave up the ghost. One other thing a rundown of the nights classes if not but a screen shot of the pla

I would think you would build for the same class so 1) all adjustments can be made as the class goes on 2) definitely know that so many are in the class 3) parts should be closer to the same buy them in bulk maybe save a nickel or two and lastly as long as they foot the bill pull what you want.
