Are there really that many alcohol tractors that spit and sputter down the track anymore? Sure some will get into a rut sometimes trying to work out a bug, but that’s not always fuel related. I’m sure the same thing would happen with an EFI system. It seems to me that MFI has been figured out for the most part and EFI is just an unnecessary way to increase costs. My .02

trying to get National 9500 hot farm rules will be like trying to get National llss rules that was tried a few years ago. The man that tried it made a VALIANT effort, The problem was the ones that didn't want to agree with him ruined his attempt.

It's Electrimotion in Delaware Ohio.. Dave Leahy. Most pro drag teams won't even unbox their stuff until it goes through his shop because 98% of the time MSD is gonna be MSD every time.
Cleet, thank you. That must be the shop as I have looked at their website and MANY top fuel competitors names are on their service orders and new orders list. I have emailed them this morn

PULLMX, I couldn't agree more. That's one of the problems with the sport today is the conglomeration of rules. How many times do you read on the page " can I hook my truck or tractor at your event". Does my vehicle fit your rules?
And if NTPA would have listened to we state pullers that were part of NTPA 23 years ago, THE CONGLOMERATIONS OF RULES WOULD NOT BE A PROBLE

So I found out today that MANY are having problems and it sounds like it's a quality issue. Modifieds and twd trucks were mentioned in a conversation I had with some one today and then later on today I talked with another superstock puller that had an issue with one that only had 15 passes on it. In the first conversation, I was told that John Force racing buys new msd boxes and sends them t

I am VERY upset with msd ignition and their tech/service dept.. When you send something to them for repair and it comes back worst then when you sent it, I have a problem with it.

I've seen lots of closed pits over the last 35 years. This won't be popular and I won't apologize for saying it but $10 pit passes are not feasible. Family of 3-5 going to a pull are NOT going to by passes. With the cost fair food, parking, and grandstand entry and whatever else it's just not going to happen.
Lenny, I totally get what you are saying. And as

There is NO spec on how to mount it to a cast chassis but yet it's supposed to be an sfi roll cage. I am sorry to say but it depends on who you are and I know what I am talking about since the roll cage issue came up in 1998.

We really need to try to expand the fan base in pulling. We need to improve the fan experience for these major national pulls especially. We will never be nhra or nascar. One thing both of those do is have more going on besides the race. For one all pits need to be open to have better contact with the pullers. Another thing is possibly a fan zone with entertainment. Stuff for the k

Todd, CBS to me seems to be the worst in my opinion. We do like our local news channel but when network comes on we change to NBC. Though still biased to some extent, they don't seem to be QUITE as bad as CBS. Just my opinion.

I totally agree however on the regional level not many people are willing to put the kind of money needed to build a full blown 4 charger diesel just to pull on the regional circuit. However after thinking about this a little more, I think you are right that you can only run 540 IF you are registered as a diesel super but they will allow someone that has big cubic in and a single turbo

Supertiquer, most of us here understood it was not an Ace chassis and he was only giving an opinion. The point is that opinion could very well help others prevent a similar issue in the future (you said you are now aware of something similar on your chassis after hearing this). With his years of experience, this opinion is likely correct. For those that aren’t part of this g
