Hi I'd like to watch both sessions of this, but I need to know what time zone the 5pm and the 2pm are in? Thanks.

Oh, I just remembered a CASE diesel super that ran a little bit in early 90's here in MO. I think it was ran by Ray Idle & Jeff Jacobsmeyer, again not sure on the spelling. This was before the diesel Iron Will IH and the alcohol Heavy Metal IH. I always wondered what happened to that tractor, it was probably the last true CASE diesel super stock I ever saw pull.

Thanks for the info. I got to see Suellen Oswald one time at Louisville and I'm familiar with Ole Black Magic and Midnight Screamer today. Did they used to be full pro stocks back in the day? And not real familiar with Petersons, Mckinnley, Kaun, & Swanson. I heard of Mckinnley & Kaun, but never knew what they pulled or how competitive they were. Is that the same Kaun that helps with the Ho

Hi guys, thanks for including the CASE tractors in this topic. I'm a life long CASE fan and that's all we've ever used and still use on the farm today. My grandpa was born in 1903 and he bought a VAC in 1942 to help out his team of mules and we've been all CASE since then. Being in my late 40's I'm not very familiar with the guys you mentioned (Main, Hoch, Lowe, and

That sounds great to me & thanks for all the info. Can't wait to see all the different classes of tractors running together, should be really interesting.

Thanks for the info & that makes sense. I was just hoping to see all 4 classes somehow run together. It would be pretty interesting & if the majority of the pullers in those 4 classes would show up and give it a try it would make for a nice size class, maybe 15-20 tractors. Thanks again.

I noticed on the schedule for the West Fair Pull (Council Bluffs, IA, Jul. 25) & The Kansas Summer Nationals (McLouth, KS, Aug. 3) that they have what looks like a combo class listed: Super Stock/Pro Stock Tractors. Is this a new combined class they are going to try this year? And if so, does anyone know what tractor classes can hook in it? I would guess that would include Light Weight Super Sto

Hi Miles,
Thanks for the article which got me to thinking about a post I posted several years ago that relates to this topic. It was a pretty long post, which I have copied and pasted below because I didn't want to rewrite the whole thing. When I read through it again, I still realize it will never happen, but if somehow it did I think it would really bring a renewed level of excitement

Well here is a simple idea. Run the top 5 OSS and top 5 DSS together at the same weight on Sunday at Bowling Green. That would make for a very interesting test to see just how the class ends up. But I'm pretty sure the powers that be would never let that happen. They should at least run the classes back to back with the tractors at the same weight and same sled setting. I would love to s

I posted last night about having to cancel our 1 King bed room at Hotel Hillsboro. Apparently they had to wait until this morning to talk to Nancy the general manager to officially cancel the room. They won't cancel unless someone else calls to rent the room. They confirmed that the room is available now to whoever calls. Michelle at the front desk is aware that there is a room available

We had to cancel our trip to the Hillsboro tractor pull this weekend due to a family emergency (parent in the hospital). I just called to cancel our 1 king bed room at Hotel Hillsboro about an hour ago. They are telling me I have to talk to the general manager in the morning in order to cancel, since we didn't cancel within 24 hours. We obviously can't control when someone goes in th

Just wanted to say good job to the Haug's. It looks like they have those CASES running pretty tough. I think they are sitting in first and thrid place in the points after this weekend's pull. I know it's early, but there are only 8 hooks left for the PPL LSS Championship! Keep up the hard work and keep those CASES running hard! KW

Macon is still listed on the PPL champions tour schedule for June 28-29. There are no classes listed yet, so not sure if they are going to have the pull in Macon this year but it is still on the schedule. Just FYI the PPL's new site has been up for 3 or 4 days now and I have been checking their site a couple of times a day for the past few months looking for the Macon classes. The Macon e

First off I want to say these are just my opinions, take them for what they are worth. I only want what is best for this sport. And as a fan I want a better show.
I have been to an NHRA event in Topeka, KS 8 times. The main reason I go to an NHRA national event is to see the sport’s best competitors & equipment at its highest level. I personally don’t go to these events to see 8 second and

Thanks Dick for bringing up this topic and giving everyone the chance to voice their opinion. This is something I have been concerned about for the past few years. I would consider myself an avid fan. I’d like to give a little background about my love of the sport. Some of my earliest memories are going to the county fair tractor pull with my Dad. I went to my first national tractor pull in

Thanks, for the pics they are real good. Looks like the weather was nice and they had a good turn out of competitors and fans. It is good to see the number of competitors out so early in the season. PPL did a good job getting the results posted on their website, they weren't live but they were up by noon the following day. By looking at the distances it looked like it was a good show for all
