What is purpose of the Lineups that NTPA posts an hour or so before pull begins ? They have pullers listed that are not pulling and they dont match who is pulling. If they are a tool for fans to know who is pulling then they are not serving that purpose.
They are mostly for pullers since we have to line ourselves up at NTPA. It often includes pre-committed pullers since they are aut

Although I think the SSD4x4 class has only been a GN class for a handful of years now I think Van/Patty Haisley, Carl Atley, and Shane Kellogg deserve consideration given their dominance and innovation in Diesel Truck Pulling. Could add Scheid to that list too although mostly PPL.

And "Triple Alpha.." Dr. Jeff, why is your SSDFWD not on NTPA Precommit list this year? Then it would be 8-9 trucks.
It was originally but some things didn't happen that were beyond my responsibility. Hope to still be out sometime this year but not up to me at this point.

Triple Alpha;
Thanks for pointing that out. I would have ssdfwd if they have the most power and good numbers. I don't watch fwd so I'm not sure on those classes ( good time for another beer or restroom imo) but would have them on a national level for other crowds.

Simply more of them can get from april to sept
I don't get this statement. The vast majority of SSDFWD trucks make it the entire year without major failure. The engine programs have come a long way because of work by Haisley/Scheid and others. Many of these engines last 80+ hooks before needing a rebuild.

As a fan I think there are too many national classes.
national classes should be high rpm and lots of power per cubic inch!
Lt pro stock and pro stock for diesel.
lt alkys and a combo alky/dss (I like the diesel vrs alky but may need to have there own class)
mod (4 engine) and mini class
twd and fwd pro gas and pro diesel fwd
All the other combos of classes should be a

I think pulling numbers are down because of a lack of parts. I know of a drag racer who can’t get pistons and rods for at least 10 weeks. On the pulling side, I know of a guy who waited for months on parts. It is interesting that SSD4x4 only had 8 trucks but Fort Recovery had 15-18 a few weeks ago
I think part of that also has to do with location. The PPL event in OH ha

Yes, I would expect you tech inspectors to know about the update, though.
I searched ntpapull.com "Tech" and did not see it listed in all the rules listed there. Did I overlook it? If so, where?
It's right on the rules page.......It's specifically called out as an addendum to the printed rule book.

Use Zelle. Works for most payments less than $2500. No fees if your using your bank balance. You can send and receive payments directly to your bank account and is almost instant.
Cash/checks are outdated in most of the world. That cash that you put in your bank account doesn't just sit there it gets converted to a digital number. It's been that way for decades now.

I don't think you'd be able to make the power you do with a turbo charger. With a procharger you are pretty limited in the RPMs you turn and the PSI you produce, unless you do something with overdriving the charger.

The pull is 50 miles from my house and it'll cost me $45 in fuel just to haul my equipment there and back. I get the prices are higher than most but $30 doesn't seem unreasonable. 14 years and under is $10. I remember going to a RN NTPA event in 1987 and the cost was $12 a person which is about $28 today. Add in you have some GN classes and it seems on par. For comparison I went to a PR

If you look back through The Puller in a round about way they did away with pre commit in 2020. Only time will tell if that is true or will work.
Pre-commit is still a part of NTPA. They did away with the "show-up" money and added it to the yearend points fund. Pre-commit still gets free entry into events. Pre-commit list from last year rolled over to this year unless you ch

Well, Dr. Jeff, what do you think the mainline media has been doing for the past 40 years - not just since Feb. 2020, Brian ?
They have been and are still 1 sided opinion staters, promoting lying propaganda and trashing whoever stands in their way.
This mask article likely has more truth in it than what you hear daily with the mainline 'so-called news' outlets.

I think there is certainly some debate around the effectiveness of facemasks for COVID-19 but maybe I can share some reason as to why this paper doesn't have a lot of traction. It was actually picked up by major news outlets and then quickly discarded as opinion and hypothesis generating but not credible.
1. Its not actually a study, it an opinion paper. Its a summary of literature that c

I agree with you on this point however what struck me was this:

Minnesota allows up to 10,000 for out door events at 50% seating capacity which would cover most pulls there.
What about riots after the Chauvin trial?
I'll be here all week. Please tip your waitress.
Riots don't have seats so the capacity limit doesn't apply to them

Maybe this will open someone's eyes. I will not be taking the "shot". Why do we need a vaccine for a virus that is 99.x% curable? Why are the cheap drugs that work not being used?
A gram of prevention is greater than a kilogram of cure. Viruses are not static and if you allow them to replicate uninhibited you are asking for a super crisis.

Kind of sounds like we are already too late then, right? If there are already 14 mutated strains, that we know of, and the vaccine is not effective against those strains, then we are back where we started.

So far data has shown that the vaccine is effective against new strains including the most recent South African strain. Likely because all of the strains so far seem to exhib

To clarify my point about hospital shutting down I didn't mean that the whole hospital shut down, what I meant was that large portions of the hospital departments had to shut down because of the guidance and restrictions to keep most visits to emergent or urgent only. Therefore hospitals lost millions. If they were really in it f
