This isn't a hot farm class. The marine and industrial manifold are perfectly fine. There was talk of opening it up to allow fabricated manifolds.i do believe it says no recast heads in the rules.

The "Coal Train" seems like nothing like a bad idea to me. I understand wanting to promote responsible diesel enthusiast, but calling it a coal train with all the bad publicity we are getting seems stupid. To me it sounds like a bunch of 16-24 year olds with there trucks turned up blowing smoke all over the place. Seems like a perfect opportunity for national news to run down the diesel community

Is there still a group? The ones that I know for sure you can cross of the list are Westfair as there will be an Outlaw show there. Also Beebeetown is having the Nebraska Bush Pullers and I don't believe the 3000 rpm class was on there list. Also Harlan is having the Bush Pullers but don't know if the 3000 was listed you would have to check.

Pretty sure they still use the stock shifting mechanism. Is it a 3 speed? If so only need one of the stock shifting shafts. You can remove the other assembly. Also it will make your life much easier if you pull the shafts out of the side of the trans housing and cut them down, then make a couple new shifting arms. This way you can move the shift linkages closer to the side of the case as I see yo

1200 horsepower would be quite a stretch with basically a stock 7.6 with a different cam like some are saying. Also a flat tappet setup is fine if you are running 3000 rpm. But if you are going to run open rom you will be money ahead to go with a full roller cam setup with billet hold downs.. If you plan on making over 1000hp the you are going to have to girdle the bottom end. Also you cam get a

Your right that a sponsor is looking for futures sales but its getting a person who wouldn't normally use that product to purchase it. As a farmer I'm going to use biodiesel no matter what since my soybeans are going to produce it. The point is to get the guy in the stands to fill his pickup, semi, rv ect. up with bio-diesel, If he's watching 1200-1500 hp tractors run down the trac

Well the reason for thinking of downsizing is if I could get 10 mpg with a pickup that would be nearly twice what we get with the semi. Next would be that our semi has commercial plates for hauling grain so there is the whole dot bs that you wouldn't have to deal with when using a pickup and trailer. Next if you went to a two day pull it would be much easier to dolly the gooseneck trailer do

So I have a question for everyone out there, right now we have a 53' semi trailer for hauling our tractor to and from pulls. Its works well but have just been thinking about down sizing to a gooseneck enclosed trailer and pulling it with a 1 ton pickup probably in the 44'-52' range with lq. My queston is guys that use a pickup and gooseneck enclosed trailer are you happy with it? H

Depends on what you have for a tractor, 8500 light class and 9000 for heavy for 466 3x4 smooth bore chargers & 640 3x3 tractors. 466 outlaw tractors drop 200lbs and 640 outlaw tractors drop 400lbs

To wow what color doesn't have the ability to get to 466. At the meeting we were told it didn't matter what block you used as long as it was cubed and was 466. So this means you could use 504 in a case, 474 in a blue one, 8.1 block in a deere and I believe the question was asked about using the 40 series Detroit in an allis And I believe Doug had no problem with it. I don't see how

It was never stated that the Malvern pull was a WCIP event. It is listed on the Facebook page because we were invited to come down and they are using our rules. But it is clearly stated on there that it isn't our event. We have an open date and I was asked to let our guys know about it. Much like the Jefferson, IA pull every year, not our event but it's always on an open date so our guy

I'm going to guess that all of these posts are from the same person. I'm also going to guess that you were not at the meeting when I stated that I do not have time to do this anymore and don't want to be president of this organization anymore will someone else volunteer to do it. If you would like to do it you should have bothered to show up at the meeting and raised your hand. It&
