Denison has had wcip in the past, but has gone with a different group this year. Ida Grove has never had us sanction the pull before but is supported heavily by tractors in our group.

Having a smaller charger shouldn't be an issue. Also to pull in the Limited Pro class you would need to buy an annual membership.

Yes the Hot Stock class was dropped, the class became too close to the Limited Pro class the main difference being the turbo. Plus there were only about two tractors that were left in the class so, guys just bolted on a 3x3 and started pulling in the lim pro class.

As far as I've heard the current one hasn't been sold yet, we are suppose to get an answer as to weather it will be sold or not before the meeting this weekend. Getting a different sled is much easier said then done since its the towns paying for the sled rental not the group. Some towns may have an issue paying double for sled rental verses what it cost before

I am trying to find this information on a 4430 quad range trans and ring and pinion, the gears would be C3-4 and D3-4. Anyway you would have that information J&R Machine or point me in the right direction to find it. I haven't had in luck in the books I have or at my local JD dealer.

Anhydrous was used to make runways in the jungle because in very high rates it compacts the dirt thus making a firm runway very quickly. They were using quite a bit more then what gets put on now for agricultural use. Also making runways not the first thing it was widely used for, during WWI the Germans used it for making explosives

If you guys want to go jump down peoples throats about free money why don't you go find somebody on welfare that gets food stamps. They get far more out of the farm bill then we farmers do. Over 2/3 of the farm bill goes to the food stamp program alone. The whole reason that we even get govt subsidies is basically for one main reason.. Information. The government wants to know everything abo

To say that pulling would be just fine without farmers being involved is a pretty ignorant statement. Just how many seed corn companies, chemical companies, machinery dealers, agronomy dealers, etc. would sponsor these pulls and organizations if farmers weren't involved. Last time I checked one of the most notable winter pulls is at a farm machinery show and is sponsored by syngenta an agric

30 series is going to be lighter then the 40,50,55 series. The early 30 series has a weaker quad setup the the later series. needle bearing are not necessary in 3000 rpm class a diff lock helps though.

9 bolt rims will be lighter but I don't know exactly how much my guess is 25lbs per wheel. I would think you wouldn't have a problem running up to 12500lbs on them. I've seen dual rims with just a center welded in a double bevel rim before, just make sure it completely level with the rim before you weld it otherwise it will wobble even if its off a little bit.

The 2wds wouldn't be so bad if the trucks didn't hook about three time per session. First half or more of the class runs through then they have to reset the sled then 2/3s of the class gets a full pull...it just seems like it takes forever

Was kinda wondering the same thing hotsmallblock it seems that whenever you hear anything spectacular about the precision turbos it comes from the guy selling it. I would really like to know if they are really as good as they are talked up to being especially for the price tag

Are you running 400 cc of fuel right now? If so you may need a different housing on your turbo because you should be north of 50 psi with that big of a charger and that much fuel. 700cc of fuel would be way overkill I would think on a farm stock. We run a deere with a 466 in 3000 rpm class with a 3lm and run about 50 psi of boost with somewhere around 40 degrees of timing and 400cc of fuel
