Double cut or bar cut.Don't mess with a top cut. Most run a double but depends on what HP your running and tracks.FYI if they are a certain build date you need to be aware that there is not much rubber in the face. You won't even get a 1/4".If thery are an 8 ply there is more rubber in them.Ten plys are are all over the place unless they were just made in the last three years.

If they come in a white bag they were made overseas.(Bad rubber)If they come in a white shrink wrap or a box they made in the good old USA.

You can take a chance with the Firestone Extreme Service 20.8x38 since they are cheaper but remember they are made for a 18" wide wheel. If you want to do it right go with the M710R38 Firestone tube.More expensive but won't have any problems.Make sure whatever tube you use comes in a box and not a bag!

Def. use the metric tube! Also use the Deeptread tire or the RAT's.Forget about the other two.Size will differ depending on bar height.I take it you can't cut your tires?
Deep treads will be hard to find if you can't cut them.

First just to clear it up a Super All Traction is a bias tire and a radial all traction is radial. The regular radial all traction is about 218-220" at 5 pounds of air.The deeptread double cut is right on 214" at 5 pounds air.And the Deep tread is wider.
Any questions give me a call if you need anything else.

So does the side wall say All traction 23 degree or super all traction?Either way if there isn't no stubble damage and the beads are good they are worth that.

Are they long/short bar or Super all Tractions? As far as weight.we did a set of 14 ply and weighed 324 pounds.SAT's weight 330.Too many people think they are heavy

Hands down radial. We sell 100 to 1 radial over bias.I think everyone else that runs radials will agree. The ones that run bias are the ones that are not allowed to run radials.

Thats why the other machine is going in so I can when I have time.Maybe we should change our name to Hawthorn/Wise Tire and then it won't matter. Its funny for all these years other cutters that are mentioned on this thread have brought tires down to Wise.Guess they aren't cutters either then. This winter there will be three cutters in our operation. And someday all in the same building.Wi

For um no....First his last name is spelled Wise.2nd if we didn't know anything about tire cutting why would we be putting in a second machine with a guy already hired to run it.Wise and us are one and will continue to work as one.We will continue to make sure our customers get their stuff when promised and not months later. With two machines we can take care of touch ups on one and new cuts
