I have a DT467 out of a S1800 IH truck, im switching it over to an ag motor and i noticed that the pump has a plate in the rear of the pump that is plumbed in with the intake manifold. the only thing i can think that it would be used for would be when the boost pressure rises, so does the fuel pressure in the pump. Am i right on this? and could i take that off and run it on a different 10mm pump?

If the engine is out of a tractor, it will fit perfectly. the only change your going to have to do, is the hole in the hood because of the turbo. We did the same thing with our 766.

yea, that isnt too bad of prices for that stuff. I might have to check into some of those parts and see what i can find, and i do understand the risks and what the insurance companies want because it really is a risky sport.

yea, i guess its just something that im going to work towards so i can pull in that class. For now im just going to pull in the 10000lb farm class and have fun with what i have. Thanks guys for all the insight and information, I really appreciate all the help i can get off this site.

He was running way higher than 3000 RPM and was being rough on the clutch, the first time he couldnt get it going he should have stopped and tried a lower gear, not rev it up more and try two more times. I would not treat my tractor that way. Abuse leads to breakage. Thats all i have to say on the matter

I have a 706 with a stock truck DT466 that i was building for this class off of the rules that they had last year, which was pretty much no rules except for speed limit. Im 18 yrs old and i cant afford all the safety equipment just to get started, and honestly i dont think that that class needs all that safety equipment, they arnt all that hot of running tractors(No offense to any in the class).

what is the demand of a Farmall 706 gas rolling chassis? I have one that i might be interested in selling but dont know what the demand is.
The guy i bought it from said that it has a good rearend, tranny and ta.

I am building a 706 with a 466 and I have a clutch from a 1466 puller that im puting in. The cluth disk has 11 splines and the pressure plate has 17 splines. What shaft am i going to have to change for the tranny to except the clutch? if you have any stock parts for the conversion i am interested.
Any info is greatly appreciated

What is the difference between a DT466 and a DT467? i just looked on a motor that i have out of a 1982 s1800 truck, and its a 467. I saw that people said a different pump and somethings different in the combustion chamber.

I have a set of 18.4x38 steel pressed wheels and i am wondering what the best way of cuting the centers out and making them a deep dish style? i have seen people do it, but i dont know if you have to have new rims and transplant the centers to the new rims or if you can cut the centers and turn them around.

Does anyone have the exact measurements for how much to take off the front and rear engine plate ears, so the engine will sit in the stock frame rails? someone told me how much but i cant remember what the measurements were.
