Adam, I ran it on Windows 7 the last 2 seasons, is your datalogger brand new? I had version 3.6.5 according to the "Help" and "About Datalog" drop down menu. I have Windows 7 Home Premium on this particular laptop.

Most guys will tell you 1000-1100*F. You will need to learn to read your spark plugs and corolate the spark plug burn to the EGT reading. The EGT number alone means nothing. Is just the ground strap showing heat at 1000*F on the computer or is the heat two threads up on the spark plug at 1000*F? That is what you will need to find out.
