epoxy??

anyone ever use a product called,lab metal,manufactured by ,alvin products.im contemplating trying some for porting,claims to be good to 1000 degrees.what kind of epoxies are you guys using. |

AB epoxy from moroso. Its made for porting. Its been in the intake ports of our command vtwin heads in our 45cid roller motor for two years. |

Splash Zone works well for intakes, No epoxy in exhaust.

ive haerd others use the moroso a-b mix.this will be going on the outside of the port,probably end up being a 1/4-5/16 of an inch thick.then most of the cast iron will be ground out from inside. |

PAtches we have it on the outside of port and the inside of the port on the intake ports of our vtwin and I use it on cast iron ports on the k series kohlers and tecumseh flatheads. |

thats were id be using this on a k series,thanks vtwin puller.you going or pullin in columbus this weekend?we are hookin both days.. |

I will be there Friday. Watching my buddy with his smoker. We dont have our back together after getting freshend up. We wanted to run the 52.5 class but just dont have the time right now to get the tractor back together. We run a 45cid roller motor.
