Do you have any info for what they are running for the 3000 rpm weight classes and the track length? |

Last year, track length was about 160', further than that & you have rear tires up on concrete trying to do a burnout. Pretty sure the 3000 RPM classes will go up to the 9700 lb class. |

Can you please explain the motors in the 3000 rpm class, did some of the tractors have bigger than 466 or do you want a small cube class being smaller than 400? About how many tractors were in the 3000 rpm classes? |

Northeast pullers have two different 3000 RPM classes, a light and a heavy class. Both of them overlap at 7700 pounds. The light class has a cube limit of 360 on a turbo engine, the heavy class has a cube limit of 466. The light ones pull from 5700 to 7700 pounds, and the heavy ones pull from 7700 pounds on up. Just so happened at the college pull this year, they didn't separate them, if you weighed 7700 lbs, whether you were a light 3000 or a heavy 3000 tractor, you pulled in the same class.
Think there were 5, maybe 6 in the 7700 lb class, and 7 in the 8700 lb class. |
