I am wanting to turbo my oliver 2255 with a 3208 cat. I have a 210 HP NA engine and a 215 HP turbo engine sitting on the floor as spares. I am looking for some suggestions on what i can do to get up around 400HP and which engine would be best to start with. |

3208s are COOL engine!! You eather love them or hate them. I work for a Cat dealer as a Generator Mechanic and there are a handful of 3208s in my territory. If maintained they fire up and pull hard. That being said I don't know the specifics on which parts to use but I have talked to a guy from Illinois with a tractor called "Outlaw Cat" a few years ago and he said there are certain parts used in Marine application 3208s that will boost your power. There used to be a 2255 web sight so try Googling that. Also, the Most Boys from Wisconsin seem to have alot of success with 3208s and Olivers. Try getting in touch with them.
Good Luck! Gary |

I ran a 2255 Oliver with a 3208 Cat in Super Farm a number of years ago. We resurrected it as a Limited Pro at the end of last season. I have a lot of the old super farm parts still in the shop. This includes turbo, lasered pencil injectors, exhaust manifolds w/ elbows, turbo mount, a straight shaft to replace the 3 speed, extra gearing for the transmission, a reground 425HP marine cam, a set of tapered rods that have been double shot peened, and a lot of smaller items. If you are interested, give me a call 608-897-4701 (Home) 608-201-3906. |

I have a 3208 that was in a 2255 that I bought from Bo Eilensteins Cat Attack. It is complete with P pump, turbo and water injection. it should be freshened up but it did run fine up til I took it out. I built a new engine for NTPA Super Farm and had intentions to keep it for a backup. If interested call me at 952-758-6620 Thanks, John |
