hydraulic oil pressure August 12, 2013 08:41PM
I am in process of building a to hot to farm 4010 and having trouble with extreme pressure build from transmission oil pump. Do I need to run a bypass line from metering block behind hydraulic filter housing back into the rear end to relieve the pressure? It created so much pressure it blew the cap off of the filter housing.

YES

Are you still using the front hydraulic pump?? If not just route the oil inside the case for lube only and not build the extra pressure.
