Allis 7040 Pulling clutch August 19, 2013 04:55PM
Hi folks,

I am currently in the process of building a Allis 7040 pulling tractor. I am planning on running the stock 426 engine or boring it to something like 470 ci with a single turbo and P-pump. I would like to have your thoughts about selecting a clutch for this tractor. Since I am removing the hydraulic Power Director clutch and torque limiter, I might as well put in the real deal right away. What would you suggest? Pedal, centrifugal, centrifugal assist?

Thanks

I would give Darrin at Rursch Specialties a call (309) 795-1502. He will be able to answer your questions.
