Can you get a 4010 with a 466 non turbo in 6500 and what do you have to do to get it in 6500

I have pulled against one. He actually had it all the way down to 5500 with a gas engine! If you could remove it, it was gone!

Adam.. I took this pic a few years ago.. And it's a 4010... And probably was an early one with the light axle housings.. I never got to see it pull.. But had to be 5500 or less.. Lots of AL on their.. And they did a nice job..

And maybe it was a 3010/3020 rear end.. I don't know that we ever figured out.. If you follow the thread Brian Lively posted his name.. And where he was from..

Eddie Foster from Scottsville, KY pulls a 4010 with a 466 in it. This tractor weighs around 5000lb area and pulls extremely good.
Also, please remember the Foster family in prayer this morning as the son Jesse goes in for heart surgery.

You can easily get one to 6500. Mine weighs 6200 with weld ons, bareback top cover, mt narrow front. Had a pair of heavy 18x38 BFG powersavers on it though...

4010 was the first 6 cylinder deere and was 380 ci diesel, which many people don't know. Only built at that ci for three years, the production run of 10 series, and then the brought the 4020 out and same block essentially was @ 404 ci diesel.

Should be no problem at all making that weight and still have moveable weight. Used to be alot of 5500 SS John Deeres back in the day and most had 500 lbs moveable weight But you have to remove alot of metal and replace with alot of Aluminium. Note this was long before roll cages but most were two charger and there was one I know of that was 3 charger

Its not factory then?? If the rules state stock block + crank a 466 is not legal and should be thrown out .Yhe reason they fo it cause of the inline Bosch pump, get a 4430 then! Ggeeezzzzz

We have a 4020/404ci/Jd wide front/9Bolt Deere hubs/Dual hyds/full rock shaft (w/o 3pt arms) that we can make 7500#s with. Pretty sure 6500 is not out of line at all if you don't mind removing aditional weight.
