Global warming ironically can cause cooler winters because of the increase in ocean water evaporation due to ice melting. This disrupts the timing of snow an d earlier it snows the faster it cools and somehow messes up the Siberian high over Russia that apparently affects our winters. Try looking things up instead of being narrow minded no offense

So you say since it's getting warmer, it's getting colder? Is that why the polar ice caps are getting bigger? No, that can't be because the ice melting is what's making it colder, but then the ice gets bigger since it's colder, but it's getting colder because the ice is melting, but then... but then... yeah, that sounds right.

Whats funny is those people in Antarctica were studying global warming. Now the rescue ship has to be rescued. Good thing its really warmed up, otherwise they would really be in trouble!

-14 now in northern IL.1pm. I may be old fashioned but I think that we are giving ourselves to much credit, when we thnink that we are so powerful that we control the world. The earth goes through cycles and warms and cools as it has for thousands of years. The one thing I have learned is that many of the people that have been pushing the global warming theroy have been making money off of it hand over fist. I am not saying that we shouldent take care of the earth but we should be aware of the fact that we are just given the gift of life. Long after we are gone the earth will be here.

Here in sw part of il. its 10 below with windchill 28 below with a high today of 2 below we had about 8 - 10 inches of snow on sunday.

Had -21 this morning. Don't know how cold with the wind spreader tractor did start much to its dismay. silos did run but the feed is rock hard. seriously need some warmer weather soon

Here in western NY its a balmy 23 degrees and dropping. Not sure about wind chill. Cold will be the least of our worries here as we are going to get wide spread lake effect snow with totals of 18 to 40 inches from now till Wed. Yipee
