I was wondering I have old 786 int old farm tractor like to fix up to be pro farm was wondering if it be good choice |

A 786 is a nice tractor to have but for a puller I think antiqueoliverpuller has the right idea a 9 or 10 86 or 66 is a better tractor to start with and you can get more money out of the 786 than what a tractor with the 400 series engine will cost to buy |

I would say sell the 786 to me and find a tractor with a 400 series engine in it. |

Ya I scared they be to heavy it only a 7000 lbs class the guy winning has a 706. The 786 is at my dads sitting in long grass not ran in eight years. Maybe it is worth to sale it not sure what it would be worth |

The 706 has a lighter rear housing than the 786 that may still be a tough weight to make unless you go to the 706 rear housing |
