Your right, if I would have gotten the right information yesterday, I wouldn't have to be asking again. What's this forum for?

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 20, 2014 01:47AM
What info did u get that was incorrect?

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 20, 2014 09:45AM
Nothing was incorrect. According to the PPL website on the schedule, it only mentioned 9500 Pro Farm, not 9000. Nothing was clear until case fan listed the rules. I looked in the rule book and no pro farm is listed in contents pages. How was I to know that the rules for pro farm was in Western Series section of the book? End of subject.

What's per hook fee? And anything special with PPL needed not covered under NTPA or Outlaw safety requirements?

Re: Farm Progress Ad at top of page August 26, 2014 02:20AM
So we should get to go pulling to night. We can load up and head that way

Re: Farm Progress Ad at top of page August 27, 2014 07:56AM
Haven't heard anything about Farm Progress pull. Did it get rained out or what. How many pullers did they have and how many people in the stands. Is it on for tonight or rained out.

Re: Farm Progress Ad at top of page August 27, 2014 08:31AM
Lots of good iron in the pits. The stands were a little bare to start but more people started coming in as the night progressed. I think if they could have it at the Farm Progress Show grounds instead of the fair grounds you would see a better crowd.

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 28, 2014 01:34AM
any results

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 28, 2014 02:21AM
Power & Noise site has them. From the looks of the pictures on there not many big name tractors at the pull and looks like maybe 500 people in the stands at the most.

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 28, 2014 02:32AM
What do you consider a big name tractor?

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 28, 2014 02:53AM
With al the hype on this website that had a thread at the top for a month advertising the pull. Adding Midas Tire and all the hoopla, I figured it would have more of the bigger PPL classes like big Pro Stocks, Mod tractors or something like that. The 4.1 class was good, but after that 5 light supers, 4 big supers and some of them were from the light class, hot farm & pro farm. With the little crowd they had probably couldn't afford that kind of pull anyway.

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 28, 2014 03:13AM
FOR YOU NA SAYERS,STAY HOME OUT OF THE REAL PEOPLE PULLERS WAY,LIVES AND OUR WORLD,-- found them.......

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 28, 2014 04:08AM
Thought it was a really good show good sled settings for most part track wasn't great Wednesday for alky tractors but the rain Tuesday didn't help love the 4.1 lim pros. I hope they do this again in 2 years the crowd wasn't great Wednesday the advertising for this show wasn't good gotta get some ads on radio and in newspapers. Good job Jason Shultz announcing sounded good. hope they keep doing it.

Re: Boone/farm progress pull August 28, 2014 04:51AM
I guess with all the hoopla and the poster on here for you to read you'd have known it was a Western series hook not a champions tour hook ;-). It appeared to me that some of the biggest names in the sport were there in the classes offered....
