Thinking about running dry block. Red guys think i will have no problem. Would like to know what the blue tractors think. Running truck block with stock pistons. Should i coat piston tops? What clearencepiston to block? |

We run .016" on a 4 inch bore and would guess you'll need .020" ?? |

I hate water if you have sleeves it leaks somehow.
Takes up valuable room under the hood. You would never believe me if i told you what you need to do. |

I built in .015 clearance to a 4.625 bore case motor, haven't run yet but that's what powerbore Brent recommended

I ran my 525 ih dry almost all year made no difference to performance just takes longer to cool it off if your hooks are close together might not be a great idea for you |

So the clearance would go on all the pistons side as well as up near the rings or is it just extra around the skirt? |
