If at all possible spare yourself all the trouble and start with a series 40. Allis had its day, but it's not much for big cubes

Besure to use the 40 series block and head I hear some are going to check the heads more closely to make sure they are 40 series not ih.

My neighbor ran big cube Allis motors for many years he had some success but he was always repairing them lots of crankshaft problems custom parts you have to wait for.He later got smart and put a DT466 in his D21 and spanks all the big motors in 640 Pro Farm and it runs all summer with few repairs.If you like to work on your tractor all summer and wait for parts buy an Allis if you want to drive it all summer build a IH.Right Andy?

check out the d21 in the BSTP 640 pro farm class. do not no the cube of that tractor but runs very toough with the big cube red and green!

Brad Hellinga in Iowa has a 640 superfarmer that runs NTPA RN 3 & 5 and UPM. He has won a few pulls last year and didn't work on it that much and he buys parts from Mark Gettinger. If you like orange and want to stay true to your brand that is great!!!! Max Simpson & Mark Gettinger can help you with AC parts (the two biggest AC parts guys there are). Built what YOU want.
