How hard of a swap is it to put an 06 bolster in 66 frame rails to get a narrow front? Will the nose cone bolt up? |

I know you use a steel plate to shim it, but how thick? |

Measure 1 then measure the other subtract the difference and divide by 2 that will give you the thickness of shims your gonna need....i want to say 1" on each side but dont remember for sure |

I put a 466 in a 706 and used the factory bolster and stock 66 series frame rails, you will need a 1/2 inch plate on each side of the bolster Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/24/2016 02:37PM by MJM540. |
