Loudonville (Ohio) Street Fair Pulls September 28, 2016 02:16AM
Next week is the 128th edition of the Loudonville Street Fair in Loudonville, Ohio. We will have 3 nights and 1 afternoon of pulling starting with garden tractors on Tuesday, Oct 4; trucks on Wednesday, Oct 5 and tractors starting with the antiques/farm stock starting at noon, Oct 7. All the rules are available online at www.loudonvillefair.com but some things need to be clarified and highlighted.

Oct. 5 – Trucks

The class pulling order has changed a little bit. Class order will be as follows:
A. 4x4 Street stock truck
B. 4x4 Modified street stock truck
C. 4x4 Work Stock Diesel Truck
D. 4x4 Limited Pro Diesel Truck
E. 4x4 Pro Street Truck
F. Open Truck

Please keep in mind the following when you sign up to pull:
1) Class A is designed for daily drivers that just want to pull. No front weights; suspension must function, etc.
2) Class B is for trucks that could be driven on the street but don’t fit into class A; Front weights ok; blocked suspension. Any truck not fitting the rules will be moved to class E.
3) Class E is for gas trucks that are purpose-built for pulling on DOT tires.
4) In Work Stock Diesel, OEM duals is defined as having dually axles front and rear and dually style bed.
5) Classes A, B and C require trucks to be licensed and registered for the street!!!!!
6) TWD trucks must run 26” hitch in the open class.

All of these have been issues in the past and we are trying to address them as best we can. Keep in mind that we are an all-volunteer crew that puts on one pull a year so getting in the right class at signup and your general cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

Class B – Open Tractor.(LLSS/NA)......................................................................6,500 lbs.

Class E – Modified Farm Stock (20.8 x 38 Tire Limit)....................................... 12,000 lbs.

Some Comments on tractor classes
Antique tractors keep in mind that we still do NOT allow cut tires. This includes top cuts.

Again this year we will be having two mph farm stock classes, one Friday afternoon at 8,000 lbs following the antiques and Friday night at 13,000 lbs. The 8,000 class has had good support from both the antique and more modern tractors and would like to see more for the 13,000.

We have changed our light class Friday night to a 6500 lb open class with the intent of welcoming LLSS to our pull. In doing this we have added additional safety gear requirements such as wide fronts; roll cages; skies; etc. This means if you do not have this equipment, you cannot pull in this class. The next class at 7700 lbs will remain a modified farm stock class as before and may be an option if you do not have this equipment and meet the rules for that class.

We look forward to having a good turnout this year and hopefully a safe and fun pull for everybody. And of course, no rain!

The approximate address for the track is as follows:

Please enter from the North side of Wally Road closest to the feed mill (town side) as the street will be one way for the pulls.
