What is a good upright exhaust manifold to use on a dt360 in place of the truck exhaust manifold?

Use a 5.9 cummins. I went to part store got several different manifold gaskets and matched it up. You will have to do some grinding to manifold but it will work.

How do the square holes in the head match up to the round holes in the manifold?

I just put on a cummins manifold on an ag 360 and the the ports were round on the head. The manifold and ports lined up nicely

Get a manifold off a 24 valve 5.9, they have round ports. Dt360 is a round port, not square on the exhaust.

I have a custom manifold off a Cummins that moves the turbo out front of engine.

That's good to know. Haven't removed the truck manifold yet, I just presumed the ports were more square like the old 400's. Thank you!

I used a AFe-40012. I bought mine off of amazon. It seems to work great

I found it to be a really easy conversion. I used a two piece aftermarket manifold off of a 04-07 cummins. I cut the tops off of all of the flanges to allow for the IH's wider bolt spread and pulled the manifold apart less than 1/8th of an inch. Had it mounted in less than a half hour. I also stamped a line on the outside of the 1st and 6th exhaust flange as well as the outside of the ports of the cylinder head so that I could line up the lines to assure the manifold was lined up with the head ports (centered). No port matching was needed, and the manifold comes in a variety of turbo bases eliminating the need for adapters. It sets the turbo between the number 1 and 2 cylinders when mounted upside down.
