Well that sucks ! I always enjoy watching you hook, hope I see you at pull somewhere this summer. That makes 2 misses already just found out the old wampus cat LPS will not make it to ravenna.

I wonder if Wampuscat will be ready. Also, wondering how many DSS will be there. Should be a good turnout of tractors. Hope they put in a decent sound system so that you can hear the announcers this year.

Back in '06, didn't about 3-4 inches of rain fall on the Fri evening/day before the pull? By Saturday things weren't in too bad of shape IIRC.

you are right mike there is good fishing on ottertail lake but there is some good pulling up there too. so when u come bring your fishing pole to fish in the morning and go pulling in the evening Grinning a good week end full of fun fishing and pulling life couldnt get much better.Grinning

I don"t know where the rain gauge was in Ravenna that showed 2 in of rain but in Ravenna ( must of forgot to dump it ) we only recieved about .75 of a inch in Ravenna . Unless it rains friday and saturday the pull will happen.

Yes, the Ravenna track crew will make it happen as you say. It's amazing how different the attitude can be from one pull to the next. At Ravenna, they will put the pull even if they get a lot of rain. Of course, the pits seem to hold up OK too. That helps. Other places seem to have a decent pit and staging area and still will cancel a pull if they get any rain, putting far less effort into it.

I don't know if i should start a new thread or use this. But the Nebraska Truck and Tractor pullers 4x4 class changed there rules so that the Outlaw Prostock trucks can run in that class, if anyone is interested from the Outlaws.They would be more than welcome to play in Ravenna

Track Prep June 18, 2009 05:52AM
Us big tire guys would appreciate a track that isn't so hard. The '06 track with all that moisture was awesome for big tires, but it also wasn't so hard. Sheep foot packers make hard tracks. Kevin Bauer (the sled man) makes excellent tracks.Thumbs Up

this pull is one of the best on the outlaw circuit! dont worry about the weather they will have that pull no mater what. wish it was closer i would go just to watch, they have some of the best fans in the country and that makes a pull worth watching when the crowd gets into it like they do in ravenna

Beach boys? Huh . Might be to muddy for Muddrags. Your right on your guess for lots of rain. I think we averaged over 2 in of rain and or hail a day since June1. We could have had boat races this morning. Resheduled for Sept 6 at 2:00
