We will be testing these at multiple air pressures against last years deep treads mid may.the ones run in Lincoln won but we're too heavy in air.we want to get the air out to where the full face is on the track and want to see what the point does at that point. When testing is done we will be able to tell you much more.our customer has a track rented and will spend the whole day dialing them in.any questions feel free to call us at Hawthorn Tite 608558-2316. |

What were the dimensions of the tires run? I I run a big tire, I would have a definite advantage. |

Those were 227 1/2".they will be available hopefully within 4-6 weeks.there may not be enough on the first load to full fill all of the standing orders so if interested you may want to get your name on them.no money down just your name.if you decid against no big deal. |

Rules

Before I decide to order what is the direction from the different organizations? I red about a 220" rule. If I purchase the 2w7" tires and they are deemed outside the rules will I get a refund? |

Asmus's tractor runs very hard...2 year points champion...2 time winner at Lincoln...So them winning was no surprise with or without the pro puller tires...It will be interesting to see the tires work outside all summer though. |

Casey Asmus got first place with the new 20.8 Pro Puller Tires! There are videos of his test hook, as well as the actual hook Saturday afternoon on our Facebook page. The videos are also featured on our website. Our Facebook page also has tires of the tires mounted, unmounted, and on the tractor.
We are happy with what we saw out of the tires for the lighter class he was in. In the future more rubber will be added to the sidewall to support the heavier classes, and we will test them as the season continues to be sure we perfect the design. The tires are tentatively scheduled to arrive mid-May. Orders will be served on a first come, first serve basis. Loads of tires should land about 3 weeks apart from each other. Feel free to call me with any questions you have at 402-840-0244 or email me at aaron@propullertires.com. Be sure to like us on Facebook, as that is the easiest way to keep up with us on new developments and updates on what we're doing. Does this tractor usually win? Or is he a third fourth place tractor that the tires really made a difference |

Asmus won points last year or 2 years ago? Pretty tough tractor.
Interesting that every single cut tired tractor finished ahead of the 4 with uncut tires. |

So to get it correct there were only four with non cut tires in the class? What rpm did they run? 3000 or 3200 |

For rules:This was the only set built that tall. The next full load will be 220" because of the 220" rule in some organizations.(which will be a mess to those that have that rule since there are ag casings out there well over 220")This rule was put in by NTPA years ago because they ran a bias ply only tire. They were the last org. that changed to radials last year. Most bias ply tires are under 216".When they changed to radials they didn't evidentally know that radials were taller. Also depending on the cut(not eveyone runs double cuts)The circumference will be larger. So bottom line is all the tires coming will be about 220"
As far as if this tire is better.....I have told many customers that if the tire won the phone would ring off the wall. And it has.If they ended up last no one would be interested. Here is the deal. This is one track, one tractor(which is used to winning)brand new tires which means all new setup. There was changes that need to be made in air pressure since the whole tread face was not on the track so they were too hard.Good side of that is they should work better at less air. These tires are like any other parts pullers try. There is no guarantee these tires will come out and put ten feet on any other but that is what the goal is just like any other builder. There are many that don't care if they work or not. There thought if they do they want to have an advantage for a while. If they don't Pro Puller will make the changes to make them better. This is no different than Firestone,Mitas,Parks ect.All these tire builders have had to make changes to make the performance better.Have we had bad years with 24.5 and 30.5 Firestones??Yes!!And there is a tire that has been built since 2007. Bottom line is don't make your decision off of one pull. They need to be run on out door tracks next to the popular deep treads on many different tracks. Then we will know where they work better or worse.Air pressure hasn't even been perfected yet so there is much to learn. We will hopefully have more info for you all mid May since we now have two customers that are going to be testing these before season.Any question feel free to call. Yes, there were 4 tractors that had non cut tires and they all finished behind the tractors with cut tires.
As for RPMs. I'm assuming they all ran 3200 |

So this doesn't prove that the tires are better. Or are a great advantage for the price |
Re: 20.8 tires
|
Keep in mind that the price on the Pro Puller Tires is actually less than the Firestones, not more. |
Re: 20.8 tires

Buttttttt
|
Are those original tires that Asmus ran (that are too tall) going to be swapped out for a set that match the circumference rule? I would assume yes? |
Re: 20.8 tires

But

But, Nebraska Bush doesn't have a circumference rule. So while they may get swapped out, it's not to conform to a rule that doesn't exist in that organization. |
