You seriously booked the lps class after a 3 tractor class last year? And booked the llss? yawn......... Limited pros have 10+ all the time, with Lindstroms, Sather, Miller, the Hastings tractors, a couple to the north, all close by, why wouldnt you book that class? |

First of all it was 5 tractors in the Light Pro class. Second, more than likely no Limited Pro there is a Region 5 hook in New Hampton, IA which many WI and MN pullers attend as well as the BSTP having a Limited Pro hook in Darlington which won't draw any from the south. You also say that there are 10+ every time in a Limited Pro class, but this year is the first year for the Limited Pro class in the WTPA. 10+ show up at Regional National events, but no one really knows how many will show at a state level event. Miller's tractor is also for sale so we might not even see him out this year. The small Light Pro class is still fun to watch and hopefully maybe a couple more will be in the class this year. If you don't like the lineup don't go. Nobody is forcing you to go to a show you aren't going to enjoy. Just appreciate the hard work that goes into promoting a pull. By the way the LLSS are a fun and competitive class to watch no need to bash them. Hope you find a little more joy in your weekend JOYless. 4.1 Class info

So last year was the first year we had the WTPA come into River Falls and it was a success and our club enjoyed working with Kurt, Tammy, Roger, Tom, Shannon and crew. Our FFA voted to host the WTPA again this year over River Falls Days and when it was voted it was discussed to possibly add a 4th class as long as myself and a few other members could come up with the sponsorship money to pay for the class. At that time I contacted the WTPA to see what classes would be available that we could book but there wasn't any classes available being New Hampton Iowa had a pull the same weekend with Two Wheel Drive, Four Wheel Drive, Light Super Stock, Limited Pro Stock, and Minis. Then we contacted the United Pullers of Minnesota about Co Sanctioning the Pro Farm Class. The plan was to book the Pro Farm Class but then we got informed that New Hampton Iowa would be dropping some classes. I contacted the promoter from New Hampton to discuss which classes would work best for both pulls so that we could both have a successful pull the same night and it was decided that they would drop the Light Super Stock Class being most of the tractors our from Wisconsin....then we moved forward and booked the class. So long story short the Limited Pro Class was never available for our FFA to book in the first place! |

NTPA rules for LSS as it is a WTPA sanctioned event. So yes, Alky and Diesel may run together at 6200 pounds I believe. Brent Yaron Hooked Up Pulling Productions hookeduppullingproductions@gmail.com |

1- 3x3 max turbo.
24.5x32 max tire. Diesel only. Not much of an open class. |
Re: Pull Order for Sat Night
|
let um run
|
They should just make the class open. Why do these brush pulls need a class for everyone? No one wants to get beat but whats one more tractor in the class he might not even run or might make a mistake messing up his hook. Plus its one less class to pay out isn't that why they are having a pull to raise money for the FFA Alum.? |

57' and older? Seriously? That would be half your improved class. And the no shifting the torque during the pull is kinda bullshit too, sorry I chose the right brand to pull with. |

Disqualified ?
|
Who was disqualified in the 10,000 or 11,000 # Improved classes ?
I heard it was a guy from Rice Lake ? Was he a member ? If it was a 1066 . It pulled like there was nothing behind it !! WOW ! |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,
|
Yup DQ'd
|
Yup class is 2.8 smooth bore by 3 in exhaust.
Not a member He runs a slotted cover and openly admits It. Folks at Borderline stuck to their guns on the class rules. |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,
|
little more
|
found more then that slotted turbo makes 50 more hp you don't put 150 feet on with 50 hp. |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,
|
Disappointed Fan
|
If Borderline continues to stick to their guns, there will no longer be an Improved class. There has only been 4-6 Improved tractors at their last 3 pulls. Are they gonna continue to kick out everyone that beats them that aren't Borderline? In my opinion Borderline has been putting on @#$%& shows. Why are people allowing them to run the brush pulls? |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,
|
Same pull?
|
Were we watching the same pull? There were a total of 7 tractors in 10500 and 11,000. The 1066 pulled and snuffed out and a cabbed deer went past him and clutched it. The next class he "got first" and the deer had a sh*t hook and got them by 8 ft. The 2.8x3 class is suffering everywhere. Borderline synced up their rules with the RPM group |

Yeah he was. Had the whole family back there during pissin match to defend his illegal turbo |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,
|
So what hapens now @ all pulls ?
|
Did Boarderline Pulls tell them not to come back ?
I think they should be NOT allowed them at any pull after I saw the pissin match !! With people like that it recks the "Improved Farm Class" 10,500 & 11,000." It's was a Good Class with Red against Green ! Wonder if Glenwood City will let them pull if they go. If I were them I would STAY home. |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,
|
Meet the rules
|
From what I heard from people that were at the pissin' match it was simply put meet the rules or don't come pull expecting a payout. Pull exhibition if you cant meet rules. Pretty simple stuff |
Borderline Rules

All you responding on here without a name needs to grow up!! First of all for those that don't have a clue what your talking about the Borderline Pullers was formed to try and get local pulls in this area to bring them in so we could all stick to the same rules and try and keep the Pro Farm/Improve Farm Classes with fair rules. Now if anyone wants to be mad at anyone for the rules Borderline has then scream at me! Myself and another member of my FFA Alumni help out the Borderline Club come up with the rules for the Pro Farm/Improve Farm Classes. These rules were never meant to single anyone out, or meant to have certain rules for certain tractors. We simply tried our best to get some common rules on both these classes to make it fair to everyone. Now is everyone going to be happy no, that will never happen. Too much politics in this sport but the thing pullers fail to realize if you don't get some common fair rules for both of these classes there going to die off cause either pullers will lose interest, jump into NTPA or flat out quit pulling. Look at the Hobby class that we use to have around here. It got outta control and the class died off. The Pro Farms are pushing 1200 HP and these Improve tractors are anywhere from 800 to 1000HP and these parts keep improving year after year. So common sense tells you that you need to control these classes somehow our they will get outta control which they already are. The other issue with these classes pullers don't understand is the safety side of it. Look at all the tractors without cages, proper scatter blankets, fuel shut off's, kill switches....ect ect. It wasn't bad five years ago but like I said before these tractors are pushing way more HP and all its going to take is once accident and someone gets killed and were all going to be done brush pulling around here cause you wont be able to afford the insurance. Where's the common sense?
As far as the guy with the slotted turbo at our pull I told him he could pull for fun so I'm not sure how things get turned around |

Mr. 2 cents I was there and my Turbo was a 3x3 and I was told if I planned on pulling with you guys again to have the correct Turbo ok fine
But you can't possibly tell me that Deere was legal. I'm gonna buy a turbo to fit your class but the first tractor it will go on is Andy's because he's done his home work and built a fine running tractor then we'll see what you have to say. That's my 2 cents |
Re: Borderline Rules
|
Andy hasn't done @#$%& to that tractor all he had to do is hand over his check book, actually I should say the banks checkbook. his head is bigger than anybody else I know. cant wait till he gets beat.its coming. good luck. |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,
|
2cents
|
Really @#$%& shows??? They keep it fair
So people like Andy don't wreak it He is the issue! He was told to Fix problems 6 weeks prior. 7 hooks more hooks than you 3 Hook brush pulls your talking about Grow some balls and see your family Was wrong! Pretty easy to see who You are. Everyone was tached and and only One did not pass.... |
Re: River Falls Saturdy night results,

I've been keeping up on this post and it's pretty funny. I own the John Deere 4250 that pulled in River Falls. Nice venue and nicely ran. We pull with the RPM group. (Renegade Pullers of Minnesota) we run 9 pulls for points. Borderlines rules are base off of the RPM group. We're teched for 2.8 smooth bore intake by 3 exhaust. Factory appearing pump (A pump) and 466 cubes. Nick Graves teched us Saturday night right off the bat. So yup. We're legal |

It is on Sunday July 22. Pull starts at noon. Wright County Fair.org is the Web site for pull information. I know they run a 9000lb out of the field with no rpm limit. check it out. Howard Lake usually has a good sled and track. |
