Im currently running a gt 4202r 3x3 slugged on intake too 2.8. My question is im snuffing out part of the time and have been told to take out the slug more air to keep turning they said. Was curious on opinions is already a 101 housing and have played with fuel and timing. Rules now allow without slug so was curious on thoughts before i tried it. 504 case 3000rpm. |

run a slug only if rules require it. Take the slug out since rules changed, so the turbo can work as designed. |

I have a custom 90 housing.

get a precision 3 x 2.8 with slots. ask for darin or chris at scheids in Effingham. case 504 will not run with a 3x3. housing # you have is to tight. that little precision will make it run extremely well. |

I have a 98 precision housing should i run it. |

I would run the 112 housing as case does not like tight. tight builds horse power on the dyno but it will not run down the track. always dies on the end. loosen it up and she spins it in. |

That's the worst piece of advice I've seen in a long time. 3000rpm and open the housing up when he's snuffing it? No.
When you say something like "makes power on the dyno but not on the track" I have a hard time taking you seriously. |

you have evidently never been around a case for 25 years like I have. works different than a red one. lol |

This is an old post,
Could the original poster inform us on what he ended up running & how it has performed. I am a Case fan & know with a turbo they have to be setup differently than the main brands. |
