I like off brands. For example, whenever a SS MM G-1000 pulled, I always wanted them to do well. Ditto for Cockshutt. The Deutz, Fords, Masseys, etc. all add a lot to the show.

One summer around 1979-80 Don Berry had his MF 2805 running well and won a couple GN hooks. I still remember him winning a 4 way pulloff over John Lancaster and a couple IHs in the 12 SS class with 29 entries at the Indiana State Fair.

Exhibition pullers
I always liked the exhibition pullers at the events. OBS, Bud Boss, High Riser, Psycho....Still like the GONE AWOL 4wd and Messer’s Thin Blue Line. I just don’t believe there are anything like those on the circuits or at any shows today. A lot of cookie cutter tractors and trucks today.
