2 Hot 2 Farm March 14, 2020 01:57AM
I’m looking at the 2 Hot 2 Farm class, seems like an interesting class. Are there that many hooks in Ohio ?? Or even in PA?? I see Glenford had a set of rules, are those rules a set rules that most clubs use that have this class??
Thanks...

It looks like Glenford is having 3 pulls this summer, and I believe other surrounding county fairs might have them too?

There are alot of 2h2f pulls in western pa. The glenford pulls seem to be way outta line from most 2h2f class rules. We run alot of 2h2f/ farm stock hooks in pa and eastern Ohio.

Just wondering what is out of line with Glenford pulls? Where are they located? Thanks Farm stock puller

Most places are stock appearing pumps no cut tires. That sort of thing. If I'm not mistaken and they didn't change anything they are open rpm cut tires inline pumps. Not really 2h2f style rules.

Where do they run 2hot2farm in eastern Ohio?

It's farmstock in eastern Ohio. But rules are very similar.

I just was aware of the 8 mile an hour at the fairs

Didn’t fpp used to run a 2 hot 2 farm class last year? As for the Glenford classes, they may also run it at Morgan county fair and possibly Waterford, that’s about 5 hooks per year .

FPP did run a 2h2f class in '17 and '18 and was then discontinued. Now Northwest PA pullers and Western PA pullers currently run the class and It is now known as "Heavy Tuff Farm" The rules are stock style injection pump, 3000 rpm, no cut tires and no speed limits.... Weight classes Is generally 10500 to 12500 (most events we hook 2 times). Between club pulls and different "farm stock" pulls in Western PA and Eastern Ohio there are easily 20 places to pull a year. I don't know of any classes around Western PA that are similar to what Glenford 2h2f is. The Northwest PA "heavy tuff farm tractors" run over 20mph, just for an idea of how they run.

Western Pa is also pulling a lighter weight version called Tough Farm, 7000 and 8000 classes, lots of fun and looking for more competitors.
