If I remember correctly, Bad Medicine came out in 1990. Do you remember how long after it debuted that others were talking about either banning it or imposing limits on it? What were some of the ideas other pullers had that they wanted to impose?
Thanks |

All these years I thought Mr Long was assisting Mr. Blackburn. |

Terry was pretty good before Bryan
|
At 8:50 it seems like Terry Blackburn knew how to make an alcohol tractor run pretty darn good before the Connors just needed to get the power to the ground.

I remember the 3 tracks days. Hard to watch it all. After a few Buds it was overload. |

"before the Conner's"? You're going to need video from at least 9 years before that one. I'm not saying that Terry wasn't doing his thing then, but I know Bryan was. |

According to pulling-reference.com:
Bryan Conner is first listed in 1978 with the IH 460 Flying Farmall. 1980 was the MH 203, re-sheeted as MF 3505 in '85 to '88. Bryan's own radical new concept alky fuel system was truly proven on this tractor. Time for a bigger and newer project found the JD 4255 Bad Medicine in '89, a real prowess, turning the competitions head in 7, 9 & 12. That continued in '90 with the White 2-180 Bad Medicine. Lustik took posession of tractor in Sept '94, renaming it "Silver Bullet" and with Jordan turning 16, he debuted in '96. Terry Blackbourn is first listed in '87 with IH 686. '90 was the debut of Magnum 7140 Slowride, quite the misnomer of a name that was retained through to 2003. |

I believe the JD 4255 Bad Medicine was a 5, 7, & 9ss tractor.
It did well in Illinois in all those classes. |

Did the 4255 end up being Doug Palmer’s River City Truck Parts John Deere? |

Not saying this is inaccurate but I remember the Slowride tractor being in Tomah in 1987 as that was the year my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. She was diagnosed as we were leaving the driveway for Tomah. She called me and told me to go as I had not been there before and had planned for a year to go. She lived 9 months even though she was only given 3 months to live. |
