I have a llss with a dt407 bored out to about 468ci. I spun a bearing
And there is a crack in the #3 cylinder in the block. It does not have sleeves And not sure if there is enough room to put sleeves. I’ve got another block. I was wanting some more input On the 407. Has p pump Big injectors and big fuel lines. Only have a s400 turbo right now. Would like to get bigger Turbo eventually. Can it be girdled? Just want some input. |

I was referring to if you have a C-1,2,3, or 4 block, the C-3 and 4 have thicker cylinder walls |

If you want to use that block it’ll need filled and sleeved. We’ve run 4.5” bore for years with no sleeves and have never broke/cracked a cylinder wall |

We bored our 407 block to accept 3/32 thick Power Bore ductile iron sleeves.Used John Deere 466 pistons (4.562) bore woth 5inch stroke to produce 490 cubes. |
