Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 08, 2020 12:55AM
With all these classes running together why not split them up especially the SF tractors since they have a hard time keeping up with them when some of them have over 1000hp on them. Also what keeps them from not putting a p pump on there tractors when they are suppose to be running a A pump even with the weight difference its hard for them to keep up.

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 12, 2020 04:24AM
Superfarms are allowed to run a p- pump I believe.

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 12, 2020 08:13AM
They can say what they want. Its a fluke and a bad track situation where a tractor gives up over 1000 hp and wins. Just speaking the truth. It aint gonna happen very often. Also the A pump thing is all about having your own little sand box to play in and keep the real limited and light pros out. Just sayin.

If they would set the track to 300ft and keep the track short it would help a lot for the SF. . But when they let it go out to 320-340 no way is the SF going to hold on. It’s only A pump with interstate pullers and USA East and PPP. It would be nice to see the P pump be allowed and run true light pro most of the top guys in the classes are already full billet internals with big recast heads as per the USA EAST rules of 1/2 inch allowance over stock dimensions. It would be nice to maybe see a 4.1 class come to NY/PA.

Again its all about having their own little group. They want to be the big fish in the little pond. That's the only reason anyone would want to run an A pump only class. They are expensive and do not hold up. So why would anyone want to deal with the issues related to A pumps? I can answer that, they are afraid of good competition, thats why. If they have their A pump rule, that keeps the rest of the world with common sense out. That's all I'm gonna say on the matter. I've decided to let them have their little sand box and play with the real players in the sport that arent afraid of competition. Best wishes all.

Puller 8
Couldn’t agree more. Would like to see the A pump go away and allow the guys to go anywhere and hook Thats the problem pulling has is that each group wants there own little thing and not allow guys flexibility and basically lock them in. But it is what it is. Interstate and Tricky Ricky will never change. It’s nice to be able to watch 30 light pros go head to head last night in Indiana.

Puller 88 not sure why you put Rick and Interstate together.

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 13, 2020 08:24AM
Call 1-888-fullpul, ask for Rick .

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 13, 2020 08:28AM
What's to be gained by calling Rick?

NYTPA added a 4.1 class for 2020. Just no hooks due to covid

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 13, 2020 07:39AM
As far as competition goes I believe it was in 2015 those a- pumps from the East went to gordyville and kicked those p- pumps asses.

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 13, 2020 07:46AM
If thats the case then why won't they let p pump tractors pull in their events? Should be no problem allowing them in if it makes no difference? I agree with post above, there is only one reason to keep them out. It all goes back to they afraid they won't be the big fish no more. Thats all. If thats not the case, someone please do tell why an A pump class makes any sense.

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 13, 2020 11:45AM
one reason they don't change they have close to 40 hooks a year they dont run as good as lite pros but with that many hooks want longevity the a pumps now are reliable plus they have 20 to 25 tractors available to pull why should they change lots of hooks lots of tractors dont see interstate guys complaining

Gordyville short track

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 13, 2020 01:09PM
If u have such strong negative opinions about the a pumps don’t buy one or come watch go watch light pros

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 14, 2020 04:57AM
What are the rules for the mod turbo class? what class does it come close to? All classes should be split up because they all run different turbos, different pumps, different size cubic inch block.

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 14, 2020 12:42PM
would be great to split but only 4 to 6 limited pros and 4 to 6 super farms in normal year need both to put on show limi pros and mod turbos same tractors 540 apump open turbo

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 14, 2020 11:23PM
Well when the "A" pump tractors in that class put 20-30 plus feet on you make you wonder especially how they run and makes it act and look like they have a p pump on it which then they should allow the 4.1 640 p pump tractors run with them since that would be a fair class

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 15, 2020 02:21AM
So ur saying it’s unfair a 640 P pump 3x3 intercooler 9300lb super farm vs 540 a pump no limited turbo 8700 lb class is unfair but a 640 4.1 p pump vs 540 apump no limit is?

Re: Mod Turbos/ Lit pro/ limited pros/ Super Farm September 15, 2020 03:02AM
No a 640 4.1 p pump vs a 540 p pump any size charger but since they are allowing the "A" pumps tractors run with the mod turbos and superfarms which they have 800-1100 more hp then them
