Is Apex becoming the official turbo of the outlaw sf?

Re: Apex turbo November 15, 2020 01:21PM
I recommend calling the outlaws organization to find out. They should be able to answer your question.

Re: Apex turbo November 15, 2020 02:17PM
If you know the answer why not just post the answer? If it's official then everyone will know soon anyways so why not post it. If it's not official then they won't tell you anyways. If Apex is in talks with outlaws then you could simply say they are in talks about it but it's not official. why pretend like its some giant secret and you need to call outlaws to get an answer.

I'm not claiming to know anything about outlaws. I'm not pretending to know anything or have any secrets. All I was saying is just ask the outlaws if you want to know something about their affairs, because they will have the answers first hand and you won't have to rely on people that you don't believe or think they are keeping secrets from you. Its just common sense! If you want to know something, go straight to the source and get it from the people who are directly involved! Instead of stirring up rumors. Just some food for thought.

Harts 3.6 is the new box turbo for the outlaw sf class

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 12:21AM
Why are they running a 3.6 on a super farm? I thought super farms run 3x3s?

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 11:33AM
3.6/4.5

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 11:41AM
I agree totally with you on the "I thought SF was 3x3" I mean really!! 3x3 entry level class ..... a stepping stone if you will to other classes up the chain. NOPE Its funny to me though because there are several other classes very close to them that they could be in BUT lets sell them another charger and keep the money train on the tracks

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 12:24PM
Just another example of people not wanting to leave a class alone. they want to get bigger but not wanting to put their big boy pants on step up to the limit pros cause they afraid of getting beat. As someone else said in another post somewhere some people just "want to big a big fish in a little pond". Super farms have been 3x3 for ever why mess with it?

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 02:56PM
The class wanted a certain hp range and decided to go with the 3.6 for durability reasons.

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 12:29PM
The super farm class is trying to get between the 466 limited pros and 4.1 limited pros. They are thinking (could be wrong) that when the 4.1s switch to component chassis not everyone will want to go that route or there will be several chassis to buy and it’s a class that will be somewhat close on horsepower that you could move down to without to many changes.

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 12:34PM
The way I see it, is super farms are already between 466 class and limited pros. Unless I'm missing something?

Re: 3.6 December 21, 2020 12:45PM
The 466 and outlaw superfarms are within 100 horse. The superfarms have the torque on them.

Re: 3.6 December 22, 2020 06:23AM
If a 640 and a 3.6x4.5 is only 100 horse better than a 466 with a 3x4. Then you better find a new builder. I might agree with you if the 640 is only running a 3x3 then maybe. It still would take a really good 466 to get even within a 100 hp of a good superfarm. Maybe with a cooler you might knock on the door.

Re: 3.6 December 22, 2020 11:12AM
I was referring to the turbo they ran in the past years not the one they are switching too.

Thumbs up.
