Historic night at the Fort Friday 7/30 July 31, 2021 07:05AM
When was the last time a Cockshutt won an NTPA National hook?

The Rydahl Chicken Coop (driven by Todd Anderson) won the RN LLSS class. I suspect Sam West may have won a 5SS hook or two in the early 70s, but am not sure.

Aside from that, maybe Ivan Carroll or Jack Simon won a State hook (not sure about that), but as far as a National hook, it's been a minute or two since a CK took first at a National-sanctioned class.

Joe Eder showed why he's one of the best. Last hook of the unlimited class and he knocked it out of the park. Best pass of the night out of all the classes imo.

Chicken Coop has been a LSS or LLSS continuiously since 1968. We figure it is the oldest constant pulling SS in the world. All by the Rydahl family.

It wasa good night of pulling, The show started off slow but they got it running well. It was funny seeing one tractor on fire before its hook and ricky rose being hooked to the boat by a fork truck.
