What 6 cylinder engine are the Massey guys using for a 9500 hot farm based class? 510 cubic inch limit, open rpm, 3x3.5 slotted charger. Are they using a 8.3 cummins? Valmet? |

The only 6 cylinder MF in a 510 class that I’m aware of is actually an IH in disguise. There are a few true Masseys running 466 Hot Farm classes and they are using the SISU 634 7.4L. There also is an 8.4 L 645 SISU, but to my knowledge, that engine has only been used in super farm class thus far. |

IPL has a Massey that runs with them as a hot farm. But it is a decubed 540 V8 Perkins. |

If you’re talking about Rampage 1150, that’s an IH block.
The 7.4 or 8.4 Sisu is the best choice and can make big power. Randy Simmons is running strong with Hot Farm in Kentucky. Talk to Jason Ervin from Upton, KY. He’s built a couple strong Masseys. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/22/2021 04:14PM by BigChiefMassey. |

Indiana Pulling League Hot Farm Class 'Always Something' is a V-8 Massey. Search on YouTube for Indiana Pulling League. This tractor was not out much in 2020 and not at all 2021. |

IPL MF 1155 "Always Something" Hot Farm of Chip Cambe is still awaiting Lemke heads for the Perkins V-8.
His son, Phil, first campaigned an IH 1066 "Rampage" Hot Farm. Then his dad got the pulling bug. And arrived with the 1155. And Phil wanted a different look, so his ride was immaculately fitted with MF 1130 sheet metal, along with a completely different side shield but still known as "Rampage". |

I’d definitely start with a 8.3 Cummins or 634 sisu.
I prefer the sisu just because it’s different and neat. |
