Will a stock tractor,1466 ih,blow head gasket running 2800 rpm at 8 mph with a 13 mm model 100 pump.

CCs of fuel, turbo, weight, tires? I torqued the stock head bolts to 180 and it lasted about 7 years. Finally had a fire ring go. I used Hyper fire rings and machined the sleeves and the issue went away.

Sealtec makes a thicker head gasket with drop in fire rings, no machining required, roughly $150

Sadly SealTec's gasket making laser machine is down for a while, he doesn't know when it will be back up and running. I have them make me fire rings that fit with their gaskets as well as stock gaskets, just remove the original fire rings. No sleeve cutting needed. To the op, the low speed of 8mph may save you, but the minute you put it in 3rd hi it will likely start pushing the head gasket out.

Injpumped, So if running the stock gasket and their fire rings, make their fire rings exactly what the stock ones are or do use different thickness?

I have them made the right thickness to match. Lots of different diameters.

My 414 blew 2 stock head gaskets running hi 2nd. s366 13mm pump I put in a seal tec gasket and studs it’s been fine this whole past season even in open mph class
