510 Hot Farmer

Too bad ntpa/ppl hot farms arent allowed. They all run together at gordywanna and it would be neat to see them all run together in the summer too. Limiting it to 466 3x3 will only give you badger state and ECI hot farms. And if thats your goal then why don't you just hire out one of those clubs to pull there?
9500 hot farm is a great class, every club that has 9500 hot farm should run the same rules at ntpa/ppl. That way the class is unified and we all can pull together. The ntpa/ppl classes aren't much different than badger state and ECI but they are different enough to not let ntpa/ppl hot farms run with badger state and ECI. |

Understandable on your take on it. Was not our intention to limit it to just Eci/ badger state. Our goal with this shootout class was to see some of the different clubs/tractors go head to head on a good track, put on a good show, with a respectable purse. We host a local pull during the day so that was our thought on not having a sanctioned event at the same time so we thought this was a good middle ground. Definitely open to ideas for future pull classes. |

Are there any 510 NTPA/PPL hot farms within 3-4 hours of Northeast Iowa? --- |

466 hot farmer

510 hot farmer. Maybe NTPA should limit their hot farm class to 470 ci. Then the rules would be unified. |

510 Hot Farmer

The reason for 510 instead of 466 is because it allows the 504 case, 8.3 cummins, 474 ford, and the 510 perkins v8 and most of those clubs that were mentioned dont allow decubing. Pulling classes shouldn't just be based off of the dt466 or jd 466. Theres a reason why ntpa/ppl hot farms have a big variety of tractors. Im not trying to bash this event, just consider us for next year, it would be fun to get like 40 hot farms in one class that are from all over just like gordywanna. |
