So did Randy Petro not qualify for some reason in twd trucks. He is without question top 10 if he does.

I didn't add him because of the time period. I am trying to stay "old school", which is in my terms the 80s and 90s, more so the early 90s. If he ran TWD then, I didn't know. I only know that he ran mod at this time.

Re: Legends Top 10 each class October 25, 2022 12:17PM
Then that would make sense. Has anyone ever done top 10 pulling teams of all time regardless of class

Re: Legends Top 10 each class October 25, 2022 10:32AM
Yes, on Randy Petro!

Re: Legends Top 10 each class October 31, 2022 05:31AM
No Sullivan's on this list? I know it's all in fun, and correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they among the first to start this class? Still going today too.

Forgot about them. Again, this is only from knowledge in the past, plus youtube.

Re: Legends Top 10 each class November 01, 2022 02:39PM
The next class I will be doing is the minis, particularly the 1,850lb class from the early 90s.

Like I said in every other post on this thread, this is only to the best of my knowledge from YouTube, to my father, to magazines, to old results, to Facebook, to friends, to etc.

Here goes:
1. Dennis Horst - Red Fox
2. Glynn Guenther - Tuff-E-Nuff
3. Dave Campbell - Sky King/Pepsi Generation
4. Roger Wysong - Sting
5. Russell Korph (not sure on the spelling of the last name) - the Gambler
6. Richard Peters - Buckeye Special
7. Larry Koester - Footloose
8. Ken Stouffer - Ruff-N-Ready
9. Robert Lenzini - Mack Attack
10. John Fairbanks - Rat Poison

Honorable Mentions:
Terry Kirshner - Instigator (I think?)
Terry Schisler - Fistful of Dollars
Steve Dorty - Precious Jem
Rick Drury - Woolie Booger
Ron Vander Tuuk - Showdown
Lee Swift - Sole Survivor
Byron Dungey - Rat Poison
Scott Eighmey - Michigan Twister
Tom Cordell - The Arkansan
Terry Dabbs - Taking Care of Business
Jackie Carr - Jackie's Blackie
Max Smith - Fantasy 2 (Most know him with Hawkeye Hustler and Hawkeye Hemi)

If it was the early to mid-80s, then I definitely would have Stan and Johnny Mello (Super Fly and Wild Fly) in the top 10.

If I am missing anybody, please update me!

Missing the original Squealer and the "Lily White" JD of the Conners that ran multiple SS weights...The Triple Massey mentioned I think began life as a 203 MH that the Conners ran. Probably most impressive tractor I ever saw run in person was the Long 686...The Korth/Mason 766 by far the most dominant, day in. day out, I witnessed as a kid.

It was a maroon IH fleetside called the "Outlaw". I think Don Riemers(sp?) from Rockwell built it originally.

Other than switching in Banter Brothers for Heavy mod.......I agree with your picks.

I put Banter ahead of Mission Impossible because the amount of time the Banters were at the top.

Re: Legends Top 10 each class November 18, 2022 06:39AM
We haven't been on this thread for a while, so the next class I'll do is the Big Rigs. This class was adapted to NTPA as a nationally sanctioned class in 1994, meaning the trucks I pick will be from 2004 back to 1994.

2. Larry Carey - Dodge Fever
3. Mike Metzger - Liberty Belle
4. Greg Hibbitts - Pro Hibbitted I
5. Tiger Ries - Hired Gun/Bull
6. Tom Lindsey - Built for Business
7. Norman Larson - Ground Wolf
8. John A. Mann - Lady Butterfly
9. John Bojec - Blue Ox (I think this was his truck)
10. Don Snyder - Mr. Nasty

Honorable Mentions:

Greg Hibbitts - Pro Hibbitted II
Ries/Mann - Longhorn
JR Flock - Wildfire
Dana Lindsey - Red Hot n Rollin'
Galen Hoover - Tornado
Mark Friedline - (Don't know the name of the truck)

If I have forgotten anybody please update the list and add them! Thanks!
