Water Injection - Port vs Crossover Pipe January 06, 2023 01:45AM
Looking for advice on water injection. Planning on running enderle nozzles. What's better - Port injection (6 nozzles tapped in the intake manifold) or run 2-3 in the x-pipe going into the intake manifold?

Both. Most in cross, use ports to equal cylinder temps

So if I wanted to run ~40oz in a pass for example, you're saying to run bigger nozzles in the cross pipe and small nozzles in each port

Yes. In the crossover allows maximum mixing time (cooling) to occur. Ideally, no ports would need to be on, but if you have a hot hole, that's where you can control that.

Where in the crossover pipe is the optimum placement for water injection? I know that there is radial air flow close to the turbocharger, does that radial flow continue continue into the intake manifold?
