Altered Farm / Farm Stock turbo size??

I have an oddball project that I am working on for the summer and I need recommendations. I have a 4.7L (4.33x4.92) 4 cylinder that I am adding a turbo to. I plan to be in the 3000rpm range with a decent amount of fuel. What size turbo would be good to start with? This will be a puller only. I was looking into something similar to a HX40 with a small housing but with a beefier shaft in it. Any thoughts? |

I think maybe s257sxe 75/61, s300 60/68 with 360 bearing housing or the s362sxe 62/68, depending on the amount cc’s of fuel and how well the head flows.
How many cc’s of fuel? |

Not sure on fuel yet. FVP referred me to Zips and I am calling them this week for injectors. This is a Euro tractor and pump parts are going to be limited until I figure out how to mount a 4cyl P7100 to it. I do not believe that I will ever get enough to run a S362. I have been eyeing the S300. |

Ok, what style of pulling, open speed or mph? The specs. between the s360 and s362sxe are pretty close in size. Play with turbo maping, borg warners match bot helps some. |
